Send to Default mail or Notification

Hello,

When a user is granted access via the Share option on a project, does Workfront automatically send a default access email or in-app notification to the user?

There are email alerts for 'An object has been shared with me' or 'An object has been shared with my team'. They would need to be enabled for the user's group, and then the user themselves need to have it enabled to receive them. They're under the 'Miscellaneous' set of alerts.

The notification options “An object has been shared with me” and “An object has been shared with my team” are not available in my profile settings. Although the “Shared with me” notification is visible and enabled, I did not receive any email notification when project access was granted.

I have also enabled "Object shared to User" option in Event Notification.

@ArunachalamElangovan - you will need to look at the Workfront email notifications on your Workfront Profile specifically. Additionally, your system admin has control over the setup area of what notifications are enabled for your system.

Here are instructions for how to modify your own Workfront notifications from inside of Workfront

Thank you! It’s working now. When the project status is set to “Current” and a user is added through the Project Sharing option, the system automatically sends the “Project Granted Access” email with the project link.

Note: Must enable for "Object share to user" option in the event notification.
