When I try to open and close a document uploaded by someone else in a project, Workfornt is sending notifications to the shared team/individuals that I have changed/uploaded that document. This is giving misconception to the workfront users that I am doing some irrelevant stuff other than my role.
Is someone else also facing this unnecessary notification issue like me? or Is there anything that I can do to mitigate this?

Hi, the users may have these turned on in their notifications in their profile that they can turn off:
Document | Request Document Add | Issue Primary Contact |
A document is changed or uploaded on an issue for which I am the primary contact. The issue's primary contact receives an email notification when a document is uploaded or changed on the issue, unless the user who uploaded or changed the document is also the primary contact. |
Document | Comment on Document | Document Owner |
A comment is added on my document. The owner of a document in Workfront receives an email notification when a comment is posted on the document, unless the user who posted the comment is also the document owner. Any users who are directly included in the comment also receive an email notification. |
Document | Request Document Add | User that the issue is assigned to |
Documents are uploaded or changed on requests I'm assigned to. |
Document | Document Add | Members of project team |
A document is added to a project I'm on. |
You can see the full list of notifications w/ description here.

Sri, have you checked the notifications area for the profiles in question? There are notifications that could happen based on if documents are added to projects, updates/comments on documents uploaded to projects. If those users have notifications turned on for when docs are loaded to their project then they will get notifications.
