Hi there,
I was digging through the look-and-feel announcements today and saw that calendars will no longer display in dashboards and are going to link to the calendar instead (as of 10/17 release). Is there truly no option to have the calendar DISPLAY in the dashboards any longer? This is a very heavily used feature through our instance. I even use this myself frequently throughout the day. We have been able to make so many visualizations and one-stop sources for work and data by embedding a calendar view into dashboards. This is going to impact our teams negatively by slowing down work and disabling quick views for are more visual workers (especially the Creative teams).
I saw this here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/product-announcements/product-releases/re....
Thank you!

I think your only option would be to add it as an external page.

life is full of compromises, and one compromise you can make is to click on the calendar sharing and set it to public in order to get a public link. (remember to click save)
Setting the public link in your external page will display a calendar without the full UI. Remember, if your users share this public link with anyone outside the company, the outsider can also see the calendar.

@brittanylang and @skyehansen ,
I was concerned about this new behavior, too, so I immediately went to our preview environment and saw what we currently see on production.
I reached out to Support and asked if I could share their response. Support asked I mention that these details were provided as part of a support ticket but is not a formal business declaration from engineering on their development plans.
From Support:
So I heard back from my team and I have some good news for you!
So apparently they were making some improvements to the new looks and they reverted it the original dashboard experience. Looking further into this though they've decided that they are going to support rendering calendars on dashboards moving forward instead of just providing the link in the page.
They said that they will update the documentation to match this new decision but they don't have an exact ETA as to when that will be put in place.
So it looks like you don't need to worry about that display changing in the future!
That is the BEST news ever.
Can confirm this was reverted (at least as of 10/16 when my instance went to the new home UI.) I had a ticket in my backlog to fix all of them, and found them working just fine when I went to make updates.
Thank you for confirming! We also experienced the same, calendars are still there and working great. Very happy to see that. Have a great day!
