Built in Timer for Tasks

One of the most requested features in the timesheet section is the ability for a stopwatch-like feature. It was voted to over 60+ upvotes but WorkFront has since come back and said it's not being planned. Without giving an explanation. Another idea suggestion has surfaced for a built in timer on tasks. A former Workfront employee developed the app for this - Stopwatch. I wonder if they are not going to develop this within Workfront because of something having to do with this former employee?

I just came to the Community to find where the timer option was located - I had no idea it didn't exist! I just thought it was buried somewhere...
