Anyone run into the Calendar Ownership conundrum?
You may or may not know that calendars, unlike other reports, run with the rights of the person who created/owns them.
We had a person recently change roles and found that all calendars he created and shared must now be re-created (copied) by someone with his old rights. This is also affecting all the calendars that were shared and placed on dashboards in layout templates, as well as those shared publicly and published on our intranet as either a link or an iFrame. About the only way around this is to have one license reserved as a generic administrator so calendars remain intact when people leave or change roles.
I am really hoping the Workfront Reporting provides an update to either allow a Run As for calendars as they do for reports or preferably the ability to change ownership of the calendars.
