Adding Approval Process Assignments to Project Reports

Hello! I'm working on creating a report for projects with approval processes. One of the fields I would like to include in the report is who has been assigned to a specific part of the approval process (i.e. editor). I previously had it as a custom form field that had to manually be set (in addition to assigning the approval process steps). However, is there a way to automatically assign this field via calculated fields, or at least automatically display the assignment in a report using text mode? I'm unfamiliar with text mode, so if anyone has any good resources for that, that would also help. Thanks!

Not fully understanding the ask but if you are trying to pull any project that has an approval process within it, try a project with this filter (and any other appropriate filters):

And you have native column options such as:

Thank you for the response! And sorry if my question is poorly worded. I'm familiar with those columns and filters. What I'm looking for seems to be more complicated. For example, lets say the projects I'm looking at have an approval process requiring editor approval. Is there a way to create a field displaying who is assigned to the editor step of the approval process? I'm thinking this could possibly be done by somehow selecting a single approver from the "approvers" field. Is there any way for this to be done?

Wouldn't the users involved in the approval process be built within the approval process itself that is then used in projects/queues? Or are you saying within that process users are reassigning?

Most likely, the default assignees would be generic (teams or job roles). Once the project is created using the approval process, the steps of the process would be reassigned to specific people.

I tried messing around and cannot figure out how to pull names...can pull stage name, status, etc. but cannot find who exactly the approval lies with. Let's see if anyone else in the community knows.
