Team Notifications When Teams are Assigned Tasks or Issues

It would be wonderful if the user notifications system was updated for team assignment on tasks, and issues. It seems rather difficult to have users be notified outside of "Work Assignment" on tasks when a "team" is assigned.  Could members of the team be notified when the team is assigned to a task?

Hi! Please disregard if this isn't what your asking...

 

Are you referring to an email notification to the team when the team is assigned to a task or issue? This is available now in Setup > Email > Notifications > Event Notifications

 

The notification is named "Work Item Request to Team". It may be off now in your system, so you would just turn it on. When it's turned on all users will have it "on" so anyone who doesn't want notification will need to actively turn it off in their profile. (at least this is how turning something on behaved last time we did this a while back)

Thank you. Yes, I considered this in the setup page but none of the things that I would think would be off are off and the other notifications options around team don't apply directly unfortunately. Great Idea to check that though.  Additionally, I also checked the users' Notification settings but all things seem to be good. Thanks again!
