Exclude Project Owner from Role-Based Approval Functionality

We would like to exclude the project owner role from current role-based approval functionality. Currently, if there is another user on the project team who is assigned the Project Owner role but not the Project Owner of that particular project they still receive a notification for an approval required by the project owner. As there is only ever one Project Owner, we would like to exclude the project owner role from the way typical role-based approvals work. Only the Project Owner of that particular project should receive the approval notification and be allowed to make the approval.

Hi @jenv3,

you could use the wildcard (yellow circle with a black flash) "Project Owner" in your approval instead of the role "Project Owner". The wildcard is selecting the user of the project which is currently the Project Owner. Check here in the documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/administration-and-setup/customize/approv...

There is also a fallback, when no Project Owner is assigned. In this case the main Workfront Admin get the approval: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/manage-work/projects/plan-a-project/proje...
