This functionality is still not yet available. I have a "report default" view and want to use that as a starting point to create a new view. You can duplicate/copy a regular view but not the report's default. It's just bizarre.
This is possible to do, just not possible to do while a report is in Edit mode.
- Create a Reports report (yes, a list of reports in your instance). - In the Reports report, add the below text mode to a column. - The text mode generates direct links to the report's view, filter, and grouping settings. - Clicking on a link will open the report's view (or filter, or grouping) in the View (or Filter, or Grouping) editor. - From the editor, you can assign a new name and "Save as New view/filter/grouping" - That view/filter/grouping will then be accessible in any list. - If you make any changes to the report after saving it the first time, the text mode will probably break unless you replace the two occurrences of "\000A" with "\\000A" each and every time you edit the report.
