Colour Coding of Projects in Workload balancer

Allow projects to be colour coded statically (set once and stay that colour) in the Workload balancer. This would be set at the project level or alternatively an automated rule could be added to the Workload balancer looking at who the assigned project manager is and colour coding accordingly. Or colour code conditionally based on another parameter in the project (from core fields or custom form fields).

This will allow for a quick visual way to view the spread of work across all people assigned to a project within the Workload balancer.

Scenario 1: All project being managed by Person ‚ÄòA’ are blue and all project managed by Person ‚ÄòB’ are green. But all projects that have no project manager assigned are grey.

-OR-

Scenario 2: All projects in the portfolio of “Information Technology” are purple and all projects within the portfolio of “Marketing” are pink.

would also be great to tie a status to a color, so in Workload Balancer you could prioritize unassigned tasks by status (higher probability of going active get assigned first)

I love this idea and will support this! I'm looking forward to this being introduced one day. Colour coding based on custom field of choice (e.g. priority) would be great addition to functionality of WB.

This will really make a lot of difference in many ways as we know. Even this will help a lot for the users who have lesser time while using Workload Balancer. A great functionality in addition to moving of task in the same project line.

This is almost a game-changer for resource management. Why would they move away from this? It is available with the Scheduler. Should make this available with the WB.

I'm with Joanne. I tell folks that I won't transition to the WB until it has feature parity with the Scheduling tool for making role-based assignments, but the truth is that I will not be satisfied until it's as colorful and visually stimulating as the Scheduling area. I LIVE for color coding. It brings me joy. Why would you take away my joy, @Vazgen??? ;) ;) ;)

+1 to all the comments saying I would like to be able to color the projects in the Workload Balancer based on the value of the Project Custom Field.
