We needs the ability to test in a sandbox and once testing is successfully completed, move the changes made to production.

This is still a huge need! Especially when you need to make changes to forms and reports/dashboards that are already live in the production system. The Sandbox environments are functionally useless without the ability to publish things to production.

It would be nice to have Dev instance and a Test instance to allow for development and refinement in Dev  separate from UAT in test environment that could be sued prior to rolling to the user base in Production. I have seen this in other platforms and it has been a great way to work on complex use cases

This is something we are actively investigating. More information should be made around the timing of this capability through upcoming roadmap webinars.

Hi @SelwynS,

I invite you to consider our Packages solution, which (among other uses) is intended for Workfront customers seeking a more efficient and controlled manner to manage migration between federated environments (e.g. Test > User Acceptance > Production).

Regards,

Doug

Hey everyone! Thank you for providing your great comments and ideas. The Workfront team has recently launched this highly requested feature. Please check it out and let us know what you think.

With the new Environment Promotion feature (released June 13), customers on a Prime or Ultimate license plan can now create packages and automatically promote them to production or another sandbox environment within minutes. This new feature eliminates the need to repeatedly configure settings, reduces the risk of errors, and speeds up the development cycle, allowing for quicker implementation of processes that solve business challenges through Workfront. If you have questions around what license plan you are on, check the Setup > Licenses area or reach out to your Adobe account representative for more details.
