We needs the ability to test in a sandbox and once testing is successfully completed, move the changes made to production.

this would be a true step towards an Enterprise class move!

and make it be from EITHER sandbox

Yes, I totally agree. It's painful to have to recreate multiple forms and queues in production that you've built in the sandbox.

This would be especially true for certain settings

Yes yes yes! This would be amazing for our multiple admin users with our organization.

Whoa, how is this NOT a norm? Does anyone know if the new Fusion Connectors (flows) has a similar approach and what do you do? Are you rebuilding the same "tested" functions/workflows all over again in Production? Thanks :-)

The ability to transition configuration and setup from Sandbox environments to production is a key capability that we have considered adding to Workfront which will enable our customers to successfully test features and go live without duplicating the work. While this is a key capability that we have on our roadmap, unfortunately, this will not be delivered within the next 12 months. Please continue monitoring and sharing your use-cases on this post and we will ensure we reach out to you when we begin implementation of this feature.

Hi Jennifer,

Great question. With Workfront Fusion you simply switch your connection from Preview to Production and the same integration will start running for Production. It's a simple flip which takes a couple of seconds.

Cheers,

This would definitely be a big help, even if rolled out in pieces (starts with custom forms, then reports, etc.). Any little bit would be a good move in the right direction.

This idea would so much efficiency to an admin's role, plus let others build custom forms that suit their business needs, allowing the admin to review, edit and then push it to production without recreating it! Please consider this!
