Validating a property value against a list of valid values

I’m looking for suggestions for validating an issue property against a list of valid values in Fusion. I considered importing the valid list from a CSV file, but I haven’t been able to determine how to compare the property value to the list and confirm that it is valid. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mapping elements from a complex array

Hello, Hopefully a simple question but I am curious the most efficient way to make the elements from a collection within an array ‘mappable’. Say I have an array such as this: What is the most efficient way to map specific elements in a collection? Additionally, in a collection number that I also specify (in this case, #1). I am looking to filter later in the scenario based on these fields.

User-selected default view for custom reportsNew

Hello, Would it be possible to add an default view override option for each custom report that will allow users to select their custom view as the default view for the custom report instead of report's default view? Right now, the only way to change the default view of the report is to change the report itself, meaning you'll need to create a copy of it, because typically reports are shared. Of course, a user can always select the view that they want for the custom report, however, that setting is reverted back to report's default view each time the report is loaded. It would be nice to have a the ability to make the report's default view = user's chosen view for that user's account. In terms of UI it could look something like this: Thank you, Andrey

report--"no data to display" for one user only

I just created a report and shared access to it with two other (non-admin) users. One user can view the report data without any trouble, but when the second user views it, the report just reads “no data to display.” I logged in as the second user and was able to reproduce the problem. Has anyone else seen this issue? I checked that user’s license and access level and don’t see anything unusual. I also don’t see any filters applied in the report view when logged in as the second user. I removed the user’s access and the regranted it, but the problem persists.

New limitation? 'This comment can't be saved because it's formatted content is too large'

Yesterday we started seeing a new message when making comments/updates in requests and projects. The message we’re getting is ‘This comment can’t be saved because it’s formatted content is too large’. Is anyone else getting this message? We know this is new because we use the same script with some clients, and the script used to be able to be pasted in full. Now we have to break it into two chunks. Why are they adding random limitations like this off-schedule? We’re just trying to work, and this doesn’t help at all.

Access request 'Request from' dropdown should identify the Project OwnerNew

When a user clicks 'Request Access' on a project they can't view, they're presented with a dropdown of everyone who has Manage access - but there's no context to help them choose the right person.The Project Owner is the most logical recipient for these requests, and they're already first in the list. Workfront Delegations - Problems & SuggestionsNew

I recently had a very frustrating time trying to figure out how we could use delegations when people are away. I see a few have posted on this subject. Here’s my two cents worth. Current Method User goes to Workfront Home/Worklist page. Click Delegations. Enter a date range and delegate, Save. This creates a delegation for the user's tasks that have a Planned Completion Date in the specified date range. The delegate can now perform the delegated tasks, issues, approvals etc as long as they have the appropriate Access Level. Problems Delegation delegates specific tasks to the delegate rather than just allowing the delegate to perform any of the delegator's tasks during their absence. The delegated tasks are those with a Planned Completion Date in the specified date range. The Start Date of that range cannot be earlier than today. Any tasks with a Planned Completion Date before the start date cannot be delegated. These would be the oldest tasks the delegator has outstanding and thus t

Migration Woes...what now?

Our migration experience has been challenging to say the least. Our assigned techs have tried their best to get everyone on the same page but we’ve had gaps in getting back to us over the past few months. We recently were told all users of the cloud have to backup their data before we migrate. We asked for directions to send out to our users and Adobe does not have any we are told. Support keeps kicking us back to our techs for the answer and our techs tells us to contact support...you get the idea. We’re 11 business days until Adobe will ‘force migrate’ us regardless if we’re ready. Any idea what happens when that happens? Trying to be positive but we’re on a three day streak of non-response to questions. I want to provide our almost 7K end users the best heads up on what is needed to be done in advance. Christina

Is there a way to have a request queue create tasks only (no issues)?

We're currently using a request queue that creates issues by default. Our team then works with tasks, so we end up with both issues and tasks in our projects. This is causing confusion.Ideally, we'd like requests to come in as tasks only — no issues at all. We want to keep things simple and have one object type for the team to work from.I know routing rules can auto-convert issues to tasks, but the original issue still remains. Is there a way to either:Have the request queue create tasks directly, skipping issues entirely?Or is there another approach anyone has found that achieves a "tasks only" experience?

AWS Errors when opening document attached to project

Recently some of our documents attached to projects are giving an AWS error when opened. This seems to be happening with issues that are converted to projects with fusion (convert to project module). We have Preserve Issue noted so the document attaches automatically to the new project. The attachment is fine on the request but corrupt on the project. I have a support ticket in but haven’t been able to resolve. Anyone else running into this issue?

UTM Generation in Custom form

I am trying to build a calculated field in a Workfront custom form to automatically generate a complete UTM tracking URL based on user-entered campaign parameters.The goal is for users to populate fields such as Destination URL, UTM Medium, UTM Source, UTM Campaign, and Contact Type, and have the form dynamically concatenate those values into a finalized URL string.Example desired output:https://example.com?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=springcampaign&contact_type=prospectWondering if anyone has done this before as I’m having issues getting the calculated field to generate the final url.

Add Report to Shareable Folder upon Creation

We LOVE the new sharable report folders feature- it is really helping us with organization and auditing of reports. One thing that would really be great is if we could add a sharable folder to the report when creating or editing it. Right now That can only be done through the native reports tab.
