Adobe Workfront

I am looking for the endpoint to use to bring the existing ProofHQ combined proof into the project in Workfront. I am creating the proof successfully but not having any luck adding it into the project via Fusion.

Hi everyone! I’m currently working on cleaning up and standardizing our project templates and I’d love to hear how others are managing this.When updates are needed to a template, do you typically:Update the active template directly, or Create a new version (copy), make updates, and deactivate/archive the old one?I’m leaning toward a versioning approach for better governance, but I’m curious how others are handling:Template version control Naming conventions Preventing users from selecting outdated templatesWould love to hear what’s working well for your teams or any lessons learned. Each time a new project is created, Workfront generates a new reference/form number. However, our business process requires different behavior based on project type:Revisions: Should retain the original form/reference number from the previous project/version Example: XX-1A-XX Variants: Should generate a new reference number using the same base identifier, but increment the alphabetical suffix sequentially Example progression: XX-1A-XX → XX-1B-XX → XX-1C-XX The core “XX” values remain the same; only the revision/variant letter changes based on the number of versions created Has anyone implemented a similar setup in Adobe Workfront?How are you handling reference number retention for revisions? What is the best practice for preserving prior reference numbers while allowing variants to create new ones?

Hi everyone, I have a scenario that attaches a couple of custom forms to an issue. It was working fine cca 4 hours ago, but all of the sudden I start getting the following error:The operation failed with an error. [422] APIModel V22_0 action assignCategory does not support argument named alreadyAttachedThe original module being used is Misc Action, with the following setup  And I also tried using a Custom API Call as such   Both modules give me the same error message. I’m really at a loss here, especially since this was working today without issues.Any ideas what can be the issue or how I can fix this? Thank you

I am struggling with saving the data on a custom form when I use an external lookup field with a webhook. I have successfully connected a webhook to a lookup field that returns results that match the user’s input. However, it sometimes saves the option the user clicks on and sometimes wipes the field back out when the user clicks away. From my searching, it may be that the form has nothing to “grab onto”, as in an id.  I don’t know if that’s the cause of my issue or not, but I haven’t been successful creating a json path to return linked label/value pairs, only a single label or ‘all fields’. I also haven’t been able to pass the data somewhere else without it still being linked to the original field, so as soon as the original field goes blank, everything else does as well.  I was toying with having a WF webhook listen for when the fields populate, but in my initial test, it doesn’t seem to see a change while the form is still being edited. Can anyone offer me some insight into how I c

I’m hoping someone has already figured this out and can share their magic with me. I need a report for stakeholders/collaborators so they can see every Proof they are on along with the decision status of all approvers not just their own and ideally it would be one line per document but grouped by document also works for this purpose.I figured I’d reach out to the Community before pushing my Friday brain to write text mode 😅

How are others reporting the Quarter is the calculated field option working for you.  Can someone provide text that has worked for them?

In scenario history, would love the option to add a column for project name or ID. It’s cumbersome to dig thru details to find an offending job when troubleshooting an error. 

We’ve built a Fusion workflow that creates new Programs within Portfolios as Child Campaigns, storing specific custom field information on the Program object using custom forms that collect the information on the request. I’ve been able to add additional fields to the mapping, but for some reason, the fields I’ve added in the last week don’t want to appear.I’ve checked the that the Read a Record (Fetch Request) IS pulling in the data to the correct fields:and that the Create a Record (Create Program) is showing the fields as things I can map, but it’s not showing them as fields I can pull in (similar to Regions, it should be showing 2. DE:Primary Solution SingSel as a mapping options): Underneath the Read a Record, there SHOULD be Primary Solution SingSel, Is this For, Campaign Type, etc, but they don’t show up. I’ve checked every custom form, made sure the fields are on all of them, run the workflow dozens for times, I’m at a loss for way to get Create a Record to actually give me the

Does anyone know of a good method to audit all custom Statuses?  We have a large amount of groups that each use different status lists.  Is there any way to export this data so it can be reviewed and updated?

Is it possible to add Pop-Up messages on specifc proofing workflow templates? We use specific templates for document review and only certain circumstances need the pop-up. 

When I am deactivating groups / teams, I need to make sure that the users are also deactivated. I would love to see color coding on the users "bubbles" to show if they are active or not. Ideally it would be best if it was color coded by license types. I am not sure what the colors currently refer to and it's visually distracting 

Issue: Registered Workfront users cannot access proofs via shareable links. Steps to Reproduce: Copy link from "Get Shareable Link" within proof > Send to reviewer > Reviewer attempts to sign in. Error: “Your email or password is incorrect. Please try again.” Troubleshooting: Tested with multiple registered users; all are blocked by the same login error. How can I resolve this authentication loop?  

Hi,A user created a project in 2024, when Workfront was adopted by our company, he received a notification these days on the email that a task is due on this project, by accessing the link on the email, he is redirected to the task, but cannot do any changes.As a system admin, I only can visualize the project by accessing the link he received, so the project doesn’t exist in the list of projects.I was able to close the task for the user, but cannot:close the project, when I try to change the status to Completed - I receive the error : “Cannot modify personal project” cannot delete the project - in the 3 dots beside the name I have only Edit, Recalculate Timeline, Export and Recalculate Finance the share button doesn’t work - when I try to click on it - I receive the error: “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')”Have you seen this type of behavior ? Any idea on how I can close it ? or even delete it ?thanks,Bianca

Has anyone successfully connected Workfront with Aprimo DAM using Fusion? Our use case is to upload final files from Workfront in the DAM, but we’re running into issues - especially files over 20MB. Would love to pick your brain if you’ve successfully done this integration! 

I need to export historical Proofing information from Workfront as a client transitions from a parent company’s version of Workfront to their own.Using an OAuth2 application configured in Workfront, I’m able to access the Workfront API to export project and document information from Workfront, but it appears that the Proofing information only lives within the embedded Proof HQ instance (please correct me if I’m wrong).Since this is not a standalone Workflow Proofing instance, but rather it’s integrated and accessed via Workfront, which uses IMS authentication, I cannot “log in” to the Proof HQ API using a user/password (I have no password in Proof HQ).As such, I’m attempting to authenticate with Proof HQ by calling the https://api.proofhq.com/home/authentication/getsessionid.html SOAP API, but can’t seem to get it to work.  I’ve tried the following SOAP envelope:````<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/

I’m trying to create two external lookup fields that are using the Workfront Planning api to pull data from Planning.  I’ve created my first lookup fine and its pulling my Planning fieldId with the records I want to show users.  The fieldId output from this first field will drive what records a user sees in the second external field.  The Workfront Planning api uses JSON for filtering, which is curly brackets, and the dependency field needs curly brackets around the field you need the dependent output from.  What’s happening is when I try to build the filtering for the 2nd external field to use the output I need, it needs to be written in JSON so the dependency field is put everything in curly bracket if that dependency field, which obviously is not working.  Has anyone worked with Planning api within an external field to get a dependency, coming from another Planning field to work?  Any insight, ideas, or thoughts would be appreciated.
