After implementing DTM on a web site, the numbers for weekly visits and weekly unique visitors seems about 2x what they should be. ie. in comparison to pre-DTM and also what would make sense based on our number of users. Any ideas why this would happen and how to prevent it.

In your reply, it sounds like you are suggesting I'm comparing a "visitors" report to a "pages" report. I'm comparing the "pages" report for all pages, and all but 2 pages. Your answer doesn't make sense to me.

I want to run a total count of page views for my site. but I want two specific pages excluded. So I checked the following by running the pages report and doing a data extract:1. run the report will all pages included2. run report with just the 2 pages included3. run the report with the 2 pages excluded.#1 - #2 should equal #3. But it doesn't. why would that be. Nothing else is modified when running these reports

It does. that was one of the things I *thought* I tried, but I'm guessing it was user error on my part. e.g. leaving out the "window." 😕 thanks!

I am using DTM (and relatively new to it) and I have tried a number of approaches to automatically set the pageName variable to the document.title. I am trying to do as little custom code / js as possible and leverage the built in fields and features as much as possible. the closest I got was creating a data element. I was able to set an eVar to the data element just fine using the DTM fields and setting it to %variable%. But when I try to set the PageName field to the same thing, instead of pas...

taciac wrote... Hi Mike, Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't very clear. You can change the setting in the tools section of DTM. Click on the wheel by the analytics tool (screenshots attached). Expand under General > under 'Data Center' switch it from 'Default' to 'Dallas'. Then save the changes. -Tacia 🙂 thanks Tacia!! It works. Though that seems odd that I would have to know to do that. I don't remember seeing that in any docs.

taciac wrote... Hi Mike, The current implementation is sending the data to 112.2o7.net which is the San Jose data center. Your test suite resides on Dallas which is 122.2o7.net. You can fix this by editing the Analytics Instance > expand the 'General' section > switch the setting to Dallas from San Jose. Let me know if that doesn't fix the issue. -Tacia I don't see where I can make this change. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place? If so, can you direct me. screen shot is attached

I've tried several times to set up DTM to post data to my Adobe Analytics reports. I can see that the data is being sent, via a debugger, but nothing shows up in the report. I tried the real time reporting and it's also been several hours so I checked the regular report (non-real time). Nothing. Any way I can determine what is wrong

I've tried a few times to set up DTM with Adobe analytics. I can see that the data is being sent / fired, but doesn't appear in the reports within Adobe Analytics. Anything I can do to figure out why?
