Viewport events in DTM

I'm tagging a site that's almost entirely built on a single html page. So as they move through the site, I need to trigger s.t() calls based either on what they click on, or what elements become visible. I'm trying the 2nd route, firing a call when certain elements enter the Viewport. Hopefully that is the right approach--would a non-visible element within the viewport fire something off in DTM? If so, then I'm going about this the wrong way. But I must be doing something wrong regardless, becau...

I'm having trouble getting DTM to recognize my Data Layer variable. I don't know much about JS objects, so I think maybe my problem is just in how I define my Data Layer variable.First in DTM I created a Data Element called Page_NameNotice that I set the default value to "Unknown", which may seem redundant, but I couldn't get s.pageName to take a default value without doing that.Next I created a Page Load Rule that sets Page name to my object: %Page_Name%Finally, on my ac...

DTM - Fire Single Call when Element becomes Visible

I'm working with a site that's built a lot like an app--almost everything is on one html page. So I have to craft a page-to-page journey based either on what they click, or what shows up on the page. So is there a way to fire off a call when a certain element becomes visible? There are tons of elements that are hidden, and if I build an event-driven rule that waits for them to enter the viewport, they fire off even when they're hidden, which is no good to me.thanks!Craig

Is there a way to implement the s.crossVisitParticipation Omniture plugin in DTM? I'm thinking that it probably means using a Custom Code snippet in the Rule, I'm just not sure exactly how to rewrite the plugin so I can access it. thanks!Craig

I was in the Advanced DTM Techniques class at Adobe's summit last week, and when introducing the built-in function for cookie placement: _satellite.setCookie()Rudi said there was a long PDF with all of the fancy functions that are native to Satellite. Does anybody know where I can find that?thanks, Craig

Shared Segments not available in Report Builder

I built a segment starting from Report Builder in Excel (pretty cool that I could do that), and tied my data block to it. Then in the Segment Manager, I approved the segment and shared it with All. But now when other users try to refresh the Data Block logged into Report Builder as themselves, the segment is NOT used. All of the data blocks that for me are differentiated by segments return to them with the exact same unsegmented data. Anybody else seen this? Any good workarounds you have found? ...

Allow us to rollup our rollups

In version 14, up to 200 report suites could be added to a single rollup. In version 15 rollups were overlooked in the initial release, but eventually were included. The cap, however, dropped down to 40, which is well under the size of many of our rollups. So if you can't increase the number of rollups allowed, you should be able to nest them. Client Care told me it would cause problems if the nightly roll-up function was occurring on the nested account before the individual rollups were done, b...
