Description - Saw a Summit session about tracking progress to goal using
cumulative functions (which I'd never used before honestly). While doing
it I realized Adobe, for all it's functions, does not have date
calculation functions. So you could do, say a calculate of the different
between today and Jan 1 and then be able to display how many days in the
year have elapsed or calculate the % of year elapsed. I've see some of
this done using the rowcount function but then you need to have all your
Our account is actually set up with 37 month retention. Maybe some Adobe
defaults assume a 25 month but that would be a 760 day limit (365x2 +
30) not 800. You can see how the arrow is grayed out and you can go past
that in setting up a rolling date range.
Description - Currently custom time ranges are limited to an 800 day
lookback. I would love this to go back a little farther, enough to
accommodate a Last 90 Days two years ago rolling range. Why is this
feature important to you - With pandemic, YoY comparisons are not all
that telling so I've been using Prior Prior Year to establish a better
baseline for how much business we've recovered this year. Last 90 days
is a standard comparison window for us but I can't create that period
two years ago b...
Though we usually use Last Touch and other models, I occasionally use
Participation attribution to show marketing team the largest potential
impact they've had from a channel. I'm wondering if there's a way to get
the deduped Participation allocation of two channels combined. My
attempts at segmenting or calculated metrics to solve these haven't
I have a number of automated data source feeds, as well as a number of
automated meta data feeds. Meta data uploads always send me a
confirmation email when the load is successful. I can scan my inbox to
make sure nothing went awry overnight.Data sources have no such
validation email. I got failure emails when originally setting the data
source up, related to formatting issues, but nothing when the load was
successful. Because the sources are various partners who may have their
own outages or da...
So if you click download from the Report Suite tab you can select a
single date range. But it would be more useful to me to be able to trend
the server calls over a time range (e.g. monthly over last 12 months).
Similarly, adding a third line to the graph that trends your allotted
call limit (instead of just current year vs prior) would be helpful. But
ultimately for our business the running total isn't especially useful
and I would rather graph daily or monthly usage.
Thanks for the suggestion. That seemed to help when my model was Last
Touch but for any other Attribution model adding the Orange time
variable the recorded conversions dropped significantly (first, linear,
U). Before adding the orange time dimension as a filter, every
attribution model had the same grand total for conversions (with totals
varying per channel). After the orange time dimension filter was added,
Last Touch showed true YTD total (no Dec 31) but First, Linear, and U
totals all dropp...
We recently upgraded to Adobe Analytics Prime and I have been
experimenting with Attribution IQ (a very cool feature)However, when
running a standard YTD time range I had a large % of conversion (15-20)
show up as none. In looking at documentation and conferring with
support, it seems the issue is the Attribution IQ lookback window, which
is exactly limited to the first day of the month to the first day of the
time range selected. So in my case, the lookback window ended at Jan 1.
If I altered my...
