Have you considered using Project / Issue / Task statuses? Our users are assigned a task to review a proof, when they're done with the reviewing they need to click done on the task to signify that it's finished. If the work is tied to a task you can mark it with a higher profile status if desired.Debates

I'm not sure if the percentage of roles on any individual effects the project plan. Regardless of their designation if you assign 1 hour to a person the assignment should be 1 hour regardless of their role.Debates
