  • Web server folders aren't available for form distribution so if this is a network folder or a Windows server running Microsoft SharePoint Services do you have full read/write access to the location?

If it's static you might look at using bookmarks but if you have to change anything in the form you'll loose the bookmarks. There are also a few ideas on navigating by identifying the physical location of a form item you want to navigate to...

  • If you're using a Tablet PC with Acrobat (for forms) you may need a plug-in to fill-in the form with a stylus. You can find more information on this at:http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2009/01/using_the_tablet_pc_with_acrobat.html

  • The problem is that the Form Distribution Wizard only accepts a single email address for the return data. Unfortunately this cannot be changed because the Wizard also applies Reader-enabling to the form so it can't be changed later. As a work around you can try using the Wizard to create the collecti...

  • The PrintParams Javascript object does include a special "fileName" property -- but this is a path for the "print to file" option. It doesn't work with the PDF printer and I don't know if it will work for Docucom. Checkout the printParams object:http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9/Acrobat9_HTMLH...

  • Might want to take a peek at this response to a similar question:http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=14045In short, this object (Identity object in Acrobat JavaScript) cannot be accessed from a script in a PDF but it could be accessed from a privileged context.

  • In Acrobat 8 Pro., the command is located under Advanced > Enable Usage Rights in Reader. This will allow recipients with Reader to save the form data but it does not reader-enable the file so recipients with Reader can attach files -- you'll need the Server product to do this as Paul mentions above...
