Are you running Acrobat 9.2 or later? This was the first version to support Windows 7.What email address is listed under Edit > Preferences > Identity in Acrobat?

Is the email address mesadunes@charter.net in your Acrobat Identity Preferences (Edit > Preference > Identity)? If so, this will be the one that Acrobat accesses when using the Form Distribution Wizard.

This problem has come up in other forum and it's believed to be a bug in Lotus Notes. One workaround was to put a space next to the comma after the address.

What version of Windows Server/OS/Acrobat are you using? Does the Distribution Wizard work for the other options (i.e., email and Acrobat.com)?

Web server folders aren't available for form distribution so if this is a network folder or a Windows server running Microsoft SharePoint Services do you have full read/write access to the location?

Navigation can be tricky especially if your form is dynamic. If it's static you might look at using bookmarks but if you have to change anything in the form you'll loose the bookmarks. There are also a few ideas on navigating by identifying the physical location of a form item you want to navigate to in the following post:http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=14377

There are known issues with using Novell Groupwise and a MAPI-compliant program such as Acrobat. These can be found by doing a search on the Novell Support page. Perhaps this recently published technical note will help (if you're using Groupwise 7):http://www.novell.com/support/php/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=3060400&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_TID_1_1&dialogID=36879443&stateId=0%200%2036881773

If you're using a Tablet PC with Acrobat (for forms) you may need a plug-in to fill-in the form with a stylus. You can find more information on this at:http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2009/01/using_the_tablet_pc_with_acrobat.html

Re: Form Distribution w/ Multiple Submit Buttons
Avatar

The problem is that the Form Distribution Wizard only accepts a single email address for the return data. Unfortunately this cannot be changed because the Wizard also applies Reader-enabling to the form so it can't be changed later. As a work around you can try using the Wizard to create the collection DataSet, but not send out the form. Instead send out your original form with the multiple return addresses. Be sure to Reader Enabled the form for "Form" and "Save" rights, and make sure the submit...

The PrintParams Javascript object does include a special "fileName" property -- but this is a path for the "print to file" option. It doesn't work with the PDF printer and I don't know if it will work for Docucom. Checkout the printParams object:http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9/Acrobat9_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?href=JS_API_AcroJS.88.1.html#1515776&accessible=trueAlso, you might want to check out the Distribution capability in A9 -- it can do much of what you're looking f...

Might want to take a peek at this response to a similar question:http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=14045In short, this object (Identity object in Acrobat JavaScript) cannot be accessed from a script in a PDF but it could be accessed from a privileged context.

In Acrobat 8 Pro., the command is located under Advanced > Enable Usage Rights in Reader. This will allow recipients with Reader to save the form data but it does not reader-enable the file so recipients with Reader can attach files -- you'll need the Server product to do this as Paul mentions above. Or, use the alternative he mentions in the beginning of the thread.

You can change the titled of the dialog box; however, the "Warning:JavaScript Window" alert only be removed if the code is run from a trusted context.

I've seen this issue come up quite frequently in the AcrobatUsers.com forum and it's only specific to Lotus Notes (perhaps it's a MAPI bug). One member suggested adding a space next to the comma after the address. It still results in a double address, but the mailing goes through once. Here is a link to the post for your reference:http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=7105
