Multiple choices for three different types of requests - Adobe LiveCycle 07-07-2014
Hello, I'm using Adobe Livecycle Designer, and I have a question. I have 3 forms, which we are in the process of combining. Basic and general information are the same on all three forms, but there are 3 specific sections that ask for different information. What we would like to do is have a drop down that has the three options. In this case, it would be Data Request, Map Request and Training Request.1. The Data Request would have several expandable Description text field, number of people field ...

Add/Delete Rows problem - Adobe LiveCycle 30-07-2013
I'm having a problem with the add row and delete row for my table. I have a table set up with the add row button in the header, and the delete row button in the first cell of the row beneath the header. I have it set so that the initial count of the row is 2. My problem is if the user adds several rows with data, and save the form. When that user goes back into the same form later, it keeps the several rows that the user entered, which is fine, but then it automatically adds 3 more blank rows to...

Over/under flow problems and calculation sign - Adobe LiveCycle 24-07-2013
I have two problems here and I need some help. I'm having continued overflow/underflow problems and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Here is a script.If (Page2.Table2.Row40.Line40VOC > 0) then$.rawValue = Page2.Table2.Row40.Line40VOC / Page2.Table3.Row44.Line44VOC;endifMy second problem is: If a negative number is entered in Line 40, then Line 46 needs to be a positive number.The script I have for line 46 is: if(Page2.Table2.Row40.Line40VOC > 0) then$.rawValue = Page2.Table2.Row40.Line40VO...

Problems with adding and deleting rows - Adobe LiveCycle 01-07-2013
I have a form that has two tables in it. The first table is set up to add or delete rows and works just fine. The second table is also set up to add and delete rows, however, when the user adds a row, saves the document, and then reopens later, this second table adds 6 rows to the form. Even if the user goes in and deletes the 6 rows and saves it, when it is reopened, it still adds the 6 rows. I've checked the Object for that row and it is set for Initial count of 2. What else could be causing th...

Confusing Information - Adobe LiveCycle 04-06-2013
Hi, I'm a little confused about the newest version of Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4. Some are saying this is what I need in order to have Adobe LiveCycle Designer forms work on iPads, others are saying that I need HTML5. I thought I read here,http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/livecycle/mobile.html, is that Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4 will render the file in HTML5 so that the forms could be used on the iPad.Can someone clarify for me on this? Do I need to have both Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4 and...

Adobe LiveCycle and Graphics - Adobe LiveCycle 26-03-2013
Hi all. I have a form that I'm creating, that has an area in it called "Sketch." The size is 2 x 6.75. In this area, the user needs to be able to insert a graphic or a picture. I've never set up a form this way before, so I am wondering what kind of field would I use for this? (i.e., text field, signature field, etc) and how does it work? Thanks much for your help.Connie

Re: Calculation/Display problem - Adobe LiveCycle 04-03-2013
Hi Mandy, the reason it needs to be displayed this way is because it's computing mileage. We're calculating an average trip length in miles. For example, number of Diverted VMT / Number of daily vehicle trips saved. (miles) 453 / 100 is 453 miles, not 4.53.Is there a way to make this calculate 453 miles and not 4.53?

Calculation/Display problem - Adobe LiveCycle 28-02-2013
I'm having problems with getting my calculations to display as I want them. I want the form to do a calculation:For example, 453 / 100, using FormsCalc in LiveCycle, the answer comes out to 4.53, but I need it to come out as 453 - no decimal. The solution is probably easy, but I'm not seeing it. Can anyone help?ThanksConnie
