I was able to do what I wanted with that window.location.path, but what if I want to make exception to only frontpage? I mean the page name for my frontpage would be only "/", but would be nicer if it was friendly name like "homepage". I guess I would have to make some kind of custom script with "if else" commands to make this happen. Have to investigate that, but any tips are welcome?Related to this. Wanted to test custom script. See my attachments. I did that, added that in the rule, saved and...

Thanks salomePB. By "path" I meant only the folder structure (category/page) and not the whole url address (which is the default value for SiteCatalyst).Anyway, thanks for your tip, and now I was able to do what I wanted. See my attachments.Ps. Still bit confused about these data (layer) elements. I thought I would always have to hard code these data elements to our site, but now I was able to do data element directly from DTM. Could be that I'm mixing two different things!? No need to comment, ...

Hi,Started to use DTM with SiteCatalyst. Just testing on one report suite and let’s see how it works. At this point not really sure do we need the tag management. The setup with SiteCatalyst was quite easy to do and now my suite is collecting data ok. Now the real works aka tagging starts and lots of newbie questions in my mind. Let’s start with the first one.I would like to save friendly name to SiteCatalyst (s.pageName). I could use the url path for this. If we have over 100 pages on our site ...

Noticed that there are 75 events available on the dropdown of SiteCatalyst events. Is this a bug or don't I understand something? You should be able to use 100 different events and eVars we should have only 75.

Yes, I did like that, although that was just an example. But still don't get it to work.Let's walkthrough this. Our image: I can do this with event based rules, so no data element is needed?event type: element existsApply event handler directly to element (didn't check)Element Tag or Selector: imgChecked "Manually assign properties & attributes" and added, property: src and value: 404_head.png (no regex)And I have to add some kind of rule?

The problem is that url does not contain any unique information about 404 error. We can have http status code 404 on any url that does no exist. Of course we have unique 404 error image and with that I can create rule, but what if somebody change the image name/url. It would be much more reliable if I could make this kind of rule "if http status code is 404 then fire my rule X", but this is not possible? Maybe it's again possible to do some kind of custom script that fires my rule if http status...

If user goes to url that doesn't exist and then the browser gets status code 404 error aka page not found. If that happens, I would then like to save "errorpage" to s.pageName and the status code "404" to eVar5. Any ideas which would be the easiest or the best way to do this with dynamic tag management? I didn't see any rules for status codes in the "page load rules" section. Do I have to again (!) make some kind of custom script? Thanks for all the help.

New to DTM and after reading few articles about DTM, I'm also quite confident that data layers are really good to use for taggins (at least for the long run). Are there any guides for Adobe DTM and it's data layers or is this (very!) short description https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/dtm/index.html#Data_Elements only help for us? 😞All those empty fields, would like if there was explanation on every field. Why or when to use "JS object" and when something else? Where do I code those ...

I really love adding free custom text / annotations to my dashboards we are using and scheduling nowadays, because that way I can "automatically" answer and explain what some difficult stats might mean and that way I get less emails with questions "what does that stat X mean?" etc. Again not the most important feature and this comes more needed in the future when we can (hopefully) schedule these Analysis Workspace reports too.

There are many more important features we users are waiting at the moment, but since you are eagerly wanting more wishes I realized that inside the mobile services all the pathing and funnel reports are looking spectacular and hopefully in the future we can do same kind of custom pathing and funnel reports with Analysis Workspace too.

After the new fall release there are some great improvements, but if you look my 2.png attachment, can you verify that this kind of trend line isn't possible even now? I mean that clicking just one or two buttons in some settings I could get that kind of trend lines to replace the horizontal bars?Yes, I noticed that you can right click one element and then choose "visualize -> line" and this way I get it, but only for one element.Yes, I can now choose all the elements (e.g. last touch channels) ...

Thanks Ben! I want these features so badly, glad to hear that those are coming in the near future. And I know, the trended view can be very messy if we want to add more than 10 lines to the same view, but still we want it to be possible to do when needed. 🙂 Of course that's why my original wish (2.png) is maybe even better feature. Thanks for the detour tip for this one, I can use it now and counting seconds when you get the update for this one. 😉 Although, that isn't the best possible stat... ...

Love the new features we got on the June update. However, this feature is still not possible, right? And one new but related question. Trended view is the most important view on many cases, but still not possible to see e.g. 10 lines for trended view or even more? I would like to see trended view for e.g. "last touch channels" and we could have 10-15 channels... or I would like to see visits for top10 pages in a trended view for last 53 weeks etc. These are not possible at the moment, I'm right o...

Hi!I have also a request, but if I'm correct Jeroen is wishing exactly same? Not sure, so have to ask with example images.I attached 3 images. My goal is the get report for top pages with SEO entries and the most important part would be to see the traffic with trended line view for X weeks or months.1.png = The default way.Otherwise ok, but trended line for different pages is not available.2.png = This is the view I want to see. Sorry for crappy image, but you get the idea? Is this what Jeroen m...

Tool is awesome after the fall update and you surely have lots of amazing features coming in the future too. I know this scheduling feature is on your list as we have discussed, but still wanted to publicly shout my thumbs up for this feature too. There are just so many business owners that won't have the time and will to login to any analytics tools and that's why scheduled email (pdf) reports are, at least to me, a critical feature before I can really start to using the tool with 100% power. Well, now I thought this more and realized that maybe this isn't so important feature after all (at least to me). Agree, there are many more features that we need more. 😉We live and breathe with dashboards (scheduled pdf reports rockin all the time) and that's why I'm so happy about the new tool, in my mind these dashboards are going to replace the old dashboards in the future, right? (I mean we can replace if we want to) Data is all I need, but it is always nice to give some nice looking repor...

Thanks Eric, got the same tip on twitter. I started to capture user agent to eVar with the help of processing rules. Of course you could do also script to s_code and save the info to eVar directly from the browser using "navigator.userAgent". Also learned that you can ask from ClientCare to get "clickstream data" where they could add also user agent data. That way you could get some historial data also, but this isn't important issue for us so maybe I'll pass this (since it's quite complicated w...
