Black + In Numerical Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 01-07-2009
Alright....so I have a little hiccup with numerical fields. I have a field set up in a subform and set to expand to fit the inputted values. When I type a value in though and the box expands, a black small box with a "+" in it appears covering up part of the number. Any idea why this happens? The subform is set to flow, everything else works fine, and the box appears to expand to the right size minus this box. Any assistance, as always, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Winebuf,I'm far from a coding genius, but from what I can see in the programming at eye level everything looks fine. Hopefully someone else on the forum who knows more coding then I can help you out!

Re: Saving Data in Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 24-06-2009
My problem was with the "binding" of that field not being set correctly. Under most situations you want the binding set to Normal. Might want to check those fields and see if it is the same issue. If the binding is set to none then it doesn't "bind" the information to that field when saved.

Re: HTTP Submit Button (beginner question) - Adobe LiveCycle 24-06-2009
Welcome the LiveCycle! There is under the "Standard" section of the Object Library a HTTP Submit Button that you can place, with this you would be able to point the document towards a URL (the database location on your server) where you would like the form to be sent upon submission.

Can you post the form on here so we can take a look at the whole thing?

Re: Expanding Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 22-06-2009
Yes, I can get the size to expand for the one field in a subform, but instead of pushing the subform next to it farther away to account for the increased size, it just goes ontop of it, putting writing ontop of writing.

Expanding Fields - Adobe LiveCycle 22-06-2009
Ok, so here I am again. I'm creating a letter with some inputted fields in the middle of text fields but would like the inputted field to expand and contract depending on the length of information input into the field, and with it for the following text to make room for added text or shrink as needed to create the appearance of a seamless paragraph. I have been trying to get two subforms to work to accomplish this task before using it throughout the form. Unfortunatly despite my searching this f...

I apologize for my lack of complete knowledge in all the perticulars of this forum, how can I post it without it being queued? Or is it better for me to email you a copy? Whatever works best for you, I appreciate the help!
