I like this idea! We do the same, even put notes in the "name" of the field to note that it's a governance field or don't make changes but like you say above, it's still subject to human error. Actually locking it would be helpful.
Thanks for the traction on this one @MoniqueEvans!
We ended up doing a dashboard (Document Summary) on the project-level that lists the document name, other relevant details, and the folder name (via collection text mode) of the folder it's in on the task. Definitely a training curve to get users...
It would be great if expenses could be renamed via the terminology pop-up in a user's layout template. This would add the same functionality used for other objects for expenses. If you change the task constraint, then you can just enter the exact start and end date (then the duration populates based off your entries). Just mentioning in case ...
Yeah, using the same concept as the IF, just less lines to write out when it gets long. Using it for 1:1 value replacements.REPLACE({DE:[Field Name]},"[Field Value]","[Field Label")
Thank you for sharing @GregoryCr! We currently create the IF/REPLACE statements now, but love the idea of the repetitive builder in Excel. Hopefully one day there won't be the manual need to do this too!
Would also recommend upvoting some of the existing dark mode requests (this one has 55+ likes) to help get it prioritized. Agree this is a needed feature!
Description - We often use "Category Name" in project/task/issue reports as a quick link from a dashboard report for users to fill in information on the related custom form. This helps when we are on a task report and want the user to fill in details on the project-level (because inline editing isn'...
