When you attach a new template to an existing project it makes the
changes as one would expect but there is no record of this occurring. I
would consider this a bit of a security issue and so do a number of
teams I work with.An update should be made to track any changes.
Reporting wise and in the longer term would it be possible to have a
more robust recording of this.
With the new change to Resource Pools are persistent in the Resource
Budgeting area of the Business Case after 2019.3 is not a great user
experience. You now can not add or remove Resource Pools from with in
the Business Case. You need to come out of the Business Case and go into
the Project Details to add or remove Resource Pools. It would be better
to reverse this change and have the ability to manage the Resource Pools
within the business case.
Timesheets only allow you to enter time at a daily level. Timesheets
should support entering time at a weekly or monthly granularity. Some
teams time is tracked on a monthly basis and team members are asked to
enter time weekly or monthly depending on their team within CorpNet.It
would be great for timesheets to allow the user to toggle between daily,
weekly and monthly time entry options.
Feature Request Description: Staffing in Workfront project only support
job roles but does not provide context for that individuals role on the
project. This would be called "Project Function". We would like the
ability to select for each assigned staff member a "Project Function"
from a pre-defined list.
Requesting an add to the context menu list to add additional insertion
options that include indentation. The added option would not only add an
indented task, but all subsequent new entries would have the same
indentation.Example: Insert Task Above Insert Task Below Insert Task
Below & IndentBusiness Justification:Use Case:Majority of insertion
require a subsequent action of indentation of the task above the entry.
Added feature would reduce effort of indentation.
Currently a drop-down custom field shows all possible options. We would
like to have the option to filter the visible contents of a drop-down
based on conditions from earlier custom fields. So for example, we have
the option to show or hide custom fields in a form based on the value of
the previous custom fields - so this would be similar, but for custom
field values rather than the entire custom fields.
