  • I found this submission while seeking to submit this myself. We have several forms on each project, and they're approaching unusable. A key point: At least truncated form name on the form tab *crucial for users* I await this rollout with great anticipation!

  • Susan, I'm interested in this workaround, but where in the updates do you log hours? Maybe it's a semantics thing, but I'm not understanding where you'd do this. Using this approach, I would think you could enter planned hours, as well, right? So let's say you want to start the project with a baseli...

  • That sounds like a more agile approach to workflow, so I'm wondering if you could use bulk tasks on the project: Copy, Design, Development -- really big buckets. Then the team member could just log hours against that bulk task on the project, at the end of each day or week. If you use the time sheet...

  • I have the same ask. Although the blue bar doesn't bug me, that total in parens does. It throws people off when they're looking at the report. I imagine there's something in text mode we can use to "don't print" that number. Michelle Yard Insperity

I agree this is a functionality that needs to be added. I comment on an approval task I have as a project-record function, but I would like to tag the project owner in that information. Right now, I have to copy and paste it into a task update or the updates field to tag. I don't understand why you ...

  • Hello, Allison! I think Eric's suggestion is a great one. Making the step from basic reporting to using text mode is a huge step for those of us with little-to-no coding experience, and the big step is reflected in the previous offerings. I'd love to see a bridge-the-gap option because I'm ready to ...

  • We want to attach a custom form to a task, but we want the data entered into that form to populate to the project updates tab, not just the task updates. I am hoping I've just overlooked something simple, but right now, that custom form data is visible only if one selects the task and selects the Up...

  • I agree that the missing piece is a filter for those with the bandwidth. Taking it a step further, to me the big missing piece is the ability to view the available capacity for each user. I don't just want to be able to filter for available people, I want to see how close to capacity they are. That ...

  • Eric, I'm curious how you like the new resource allocation tool. I'm accustomed to the Flash-based version, so the new one is challenging me. Maybe it's because I started my career as a writer, but the more graphic-based tools become, the less I like them. What are you seeing as the pluses in the ne...

  • If your task has a long duration (more than one day) show progress using the "slider bar" . Update the progress regularly so the PM knows something is happening and the project will be less likely to show At Risk. I see this is an old thread, but honestly, these reminders never go out of date. I l...
