  • Anna It's worth every minute of your time to get the templates right so that you don't have to struggle with each project individually. Understanding the access levels and also the overlay of how sharing impacts access is complex and I have found trial and error until you get it right. Good luck!

  • Sorry I described this wrong because I'm in the New Beta. In Classic Workfront from a Project, click on Staffing, then Scheduling, then Actions. Here is a screenshot

  • The assignments happen after you turn the template into a project. Once the project is setup, click on Scheduling/Actions where you can assign users to each role for the entire project.

  • I just re-remembered how I do this yesterday! If you create a team of people who need to upload versions and then SHARE the project with that team and give them the Manage access, it works. We don't have a lot of plan licenses and this is one of the primary workarounds that we use to give Workers mo...

  • I found it! Pshew, thank you @Alejandro, Vic from Feb 2018. I have to share with the team. Skye, you said this, but I didn't understand. Ahhh, ok. I have a solution for you! There are two ways to accomplish this. In the Edit Project settings you have that Access section where you can set up anyone a...

  • Thanks, Skye, that's what I think but I can't find any place in any project or a portfolio where you can assign different access to a team. The team is not assigned any tasks on any projects. In the Team setup there is no way to assign them any special access, the setup screen is very limited. I fee...

  • Hi When we first came onto Workfront about 2 years ago someone here suggested that I create a Team of a group of my Workers who need to have the highest level of access so they can modify tasks, upload proofs and versions etc. It's been working great. However, I want to make another team to have sim...

  • Hi I have found now testing this with the problem project – Aurelie who owns the project can edit ALL the tasks EXCEPT for those owned by Jessica. When she adds a new task and assigns it to Jessica, that task can be edited. The task owner of that locked task has no special properties that I know of,...

  • Hi Due to budgeting (or lack thereof), my team of project managers are licensed as Workers and so that is the start of my challenge. They are responsible for keeping their project plans up to date, but we find every now and then that they are not able to edit a task's duration, they are locked out I...

  • Yes this is available and that‚Äö√Ñ√¥s the way we work because our designers only share with the Marketing manager who then decides who needs to approve. They are all workers. It has to do with access levels. There‚Äö√Ñ√¥s a wide (and confusing to me) combination of access setups for Proof so what I...
