  • You can inline edit a task if given the right permissions. The way I do it is add the people who need the most access to a "PM Team", and give the Team "Manage" access via sharing the project.

  • Absolutely that is how it has always worked for us. Right now we are in the horrible position of dead-ing projects and have not made any new ones but I'll keep my eye on the next one. Also, when you turn Current to Planning to Current a certain number of notifications also go out that can be confusi...

  • I would assign him some tasks and sit next to him (or screenshare if you are no longer going into an office) while watching him as he works through what he has to do, and see what he's clicking on. If he can't repeat the mistake, then hopefully he won't do it again! Reinforcing the correct behavior ...

  • We had that same concern about previous versions and reverting before we launched this method. We found that with OneDrive you can revert to a previous version when you go to Office.com – it saves a version every minute or so, so it's very detailed how far you can go back. Ask your IT about this. Ou...

  • Thanks so much Heather. I do have a couple questions that are probably answered on the Help but ... oy that thing is so long and boring my brain dies a little each time!! When I get the export for which to base the kickstart on, it has a bunch of other tabs that I don't need. Am I supposed to lea...
