I have a couple of complex needs for Enhanced Authentication: 1. We need
to be able to click on links from exported reports. In the current alpha
version we are unable to do so. 2. When a user is not yet logged in to
Workfront and they click a link from Workfront generated emails they
should be authenticated and then redirected to the object that they were
linked to; Currently Enhanced Authentication will take you to Workfront
Home instead. James Bender Jackson/JTS
This would be very helpful for approving timesheets as well. Approvers
currently have to look through many zero-hour rows of timesheets when
associates have items pinned and etc. If the view was flexible
(customizable) approvers could filter down to just the rows with time
entered over the time sheet period.
This can be done manually by removing all sharing (including inherited).
Make it view only to everyone except the PM. We've done this in our
system as a manual procedure to follow when PMs are marking tasks as
closed. Additionally, in the meantime before this idea becomes a true
system setting, you can monitor where this is happening through a simple
hour report or through a TASK object report with the following
@Kevin Quosig.... Spot On! There are so many simple ways to have
universally unique and locally unique sequential IDs at the same time. I
wonder if Workfront QCs their status updates that are posted on these?
Could you imagine that having gone through a formal review process and
still making it out the other end.
Yes. The list view and the board view should have corresponding
priorities. I suggested this as well though worded with a different
upvote there as well.
I like the idea that there shouldn't be a resource manager field on
projects. But I think it'd be better if it was based on team or some
other configurable construct. Especially in agile where resource
managers may be responsible for a collection of people with different
If I'm reading what you want correctly, you should try using a TASK
report with a column for "Default Baseline Task: Planned Completion
Date" and a field for "Actual Completion Date". I believe the default
baseline task object points at the most recent baseline taken by
default. James Bender Jackson/JTS
