This is absolutely doable by leveraging the custom HTTP modules in order to call fusion webhooks.

Include accessRules in the "fields" portion of your query.

The file Type parameter is on the version object, so if you include currentVersion:ext, that should give it to you.

A document can only exist on a single task at any one time as far as I'm aware, but you could for sure leverage fusion to move documents from one task to the next as required.
