The word 'exists' doesn't exist in your filtering options, the word 'is not blank' or 'equals' point to that. So project status in a report is EQUALS current, on hold. Or if a decision is pending in a proof approval report, you'd use 'approver decision is pending' = true.

Question, not seeing that there's an option to copy a Board. If we have a Board setup that took a while with certain filters/settings/card info/etc., and I want to that Board as a base for another Board and just make tweaks, not seeing a Copy option. Will this be coming?

Yes, this example is for a project report using project status.  Same concept applies if you want to have a task status column instead of project status. You'd apply column rules using icons on your task status column of your report.
