Hi, just FYI in the process of doing this it freezes on the step of giving Anna Smith Contribute access...as soon as I gave it I'm not able to click anything or get out of this screen or out of the sharing modal or back to the instructions. Happening on your end too?

Are you sure this user has contribute or manage access on the projects he is trying to log time to (assuming your view-only access level doesn't allow for logging time). Is he trying to log project or task time?

Hi there, in Setup, check your timesheet preferences. You may be trying to edit time on closed projects and can't if you have a setting that you cannot revise time on closed projects. If that's the case, try reopening the projects, revise the time as needed, then close again.

Did you catch the summit sessions on this? Definitely an overhaul coming for calendars in a good way this year. After needing to use calendars for a few purposes I found some good setup tweaks that helped overcome some limitations, but I agree we've ran into some obstacles in the past. I don't know ...

Hi, can you clarify what notification you are wanting/not wanting?Are you saying you want users notified of a project status change ONLY if they have tasks assigned to them in the project that aren't yet complete?
