Glad you figured it out... and hopefully if it was your VPN, that your IT department can fix that quickly... you don't want to be logging in and out of VPN all day to do your job.... 

If you check all the tabs that aren't greyed out, can you see if there is anything flagged as being missing?   When I check mine, as soon as I choose an account and location, "Save" becomes available.. so it's odd that it's still greyed out for you....
