Re: Some of the UV numbers do not add up in Project report curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Bene_joon, So if you have 8 app users but you are picking up 10 unique visitors the only potential reason is if a user cleared cookies on their device or the same user is using multiple devices. Adobe unique visitors is primarily cookie/device-based.

Re: Some of the UV numbers do not add up in Project report curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Bene_joon, Q1: The total number (10) is the number of unique visitors that have interacted with your site over the period. The daily breakdown will give the number of unique visitors for that particular day. So if the same unique visitor visits your site over multiple days they will reflect in each of the relevant days but from a total perspective, they are still seen as one unique visitor. Adobe will always try and answer your question the same way a person answers it (ie. How many unique vi...

Request Access to a Project curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
I would suggest that all users should have read access to projects upfront (title, tags, project creator & project description) with the further ability to submit a request to the project creator to share the report. Potentially add in a Browse All Projects button next to the Create Project button? Then when a user lands on the All Projects page they see what projects are available but cant access the project itself. The user should then have the ability to request access to the project from the...

Rolling Date Ranges - Hourly curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
When building date ranges you can use variables for days, weeks etc to build your dynamic date ranges. Can we please include the ability to also select hours when setting up your rolling dates? This will make more operational type reports have more applicable date ranges like last 24 hours etc.

Tracking link clicks for Smart Banner curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi guys, hoping you can assist - we are looking to implement a Smart banner on our website to encourage app downloads for visitors visiting on their mobile devices. We have used the following JS code snippet to implement -> https://github.com/jasny/jquery.smartbannerWe have added the applicable data-id / data-text elements that we want to feed into Adobe (data-id = "link_content_app smart banner" & data-text="view button click"). However, analytics is not firing for the View Button clicks. Any i...

Re: Manage Projects: Search Reports by 'Shared with' curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
100% agreed - more robust filters just make life easier when trying to find a project (especially when there are loads of projects you manage). Shared with just the most pressing for me at the moment. 😛

Project Template Approve Option curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
At present in Adobe analytics anyone can save a project as a Template and this template is immediately available for use when creating a new project for any other Adobe Analytics user. this is not ideal as not ALL templates are created for broader use. I would like to suggest a similar option as exists for Segments/Metrics where you can:- Approve a template (which makes it available to any other Adobe Analytics user)- Share a template (which will make it available to the users shared with) This ...

Re: Date range for YOY comparison curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Depending on what time range you want to compare by Y-o-Y this would still be correct. The above pic will create a date range that allows you to compare the last weeks data with the previous year's data for the same week. If you want to compare the last 52 weeks then this should already be a date range semgnet in Adobe (but if not then you can create it as suggested). For Y-o-Y comparisons it depends on the time range (ie. week, month, year etc) that will dictate how you go about setting up the Y...

Manage Projects: Search Reports by 'Shared with' curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
I would like to suggest adding an additional filter/search option to allow you to search for reports based on the person it is shared with. At the moment you can filter by report creators/owners & if a report is shared with you.You can search by tags and report titles as well but you cant search by projects that are shared with a specific user. I find it difficult to find reports that are shared with other users and having this option will be a great addition as I get a number of requests as an ...

Report Filter Improvements curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi all... I would like to propose two potential improvements to the use of filters in Workspace. 1. Allow filters to be used/set at a report level.- At present if you have multiple panels which you want to have all the same filters on you need to add them each manually. It is a pain. It would be easier if you could set the filters you want on a report (or on one panel and select apply to all panels - the same way dates currently work potentially). 2. Allow you to control width of filter diplay t...

Re: Creating a Segment of specific pages curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Alex, Unfortunately you only really have one option available - which is to select the pages, right click on them and use 'Display Only Selected Rows'. Reason you are getting the extra results (the zero and infinity ones) is because you are making use of a metric that calculates as a percentage. If you remove the Exit Rate metric then only the expected pages will display in your Freeform table. Adobe, when using a metric that calculates to a % will end up showing data for all results regardle...

Re: [Adobe Workspace] Compare current month to date to pr... curtisy56616937 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Adilk, Yes this is possible. You can use rolling dates for both Current Month To Date as well as the Previous Month To Date (so click the checkbox when creating a date range segment). For the Current Month To Date set the Start to Start of Current Month and End to End of Current Day (both with none for the increment). For the Previous Month To Date set the Start to Start of Current Month with a minus increment set to minus 1 month and the End to End of Current Day with a minus increment set to...
