In this case, you're not creating the profile but rather using update activity to update the flag on the profile. Currently, with the update activity, you can update the existing profile. You can't create the profile and assign a default value using update activity.

@Michael_Soprano This looks like discover.newProduct custom event. Ensure you're using the appropriate schema containing the custom event and that it is enabled in the event configuration fields section. Also, check under _pwcglobptrsd if that custom event is showing or not.

@Robsay Any feedback from MTA will be part of the OOTB dataset (Message Feedback Event Dataset). Whether you use PersonalEmail.Address field or any other custom field to send the email all feedback will get recorded into OOTB dataset

@MichaelBailey I don't think HTML markup in the profile field will be seen as actual HTML. In the email designer, it’ll just be treated as a personalization element. Can you share more about why you want HTML markup there? What specific use case you're trying to achieve?
