How do I format multiple lines in the cMsg: field in email - Adobe LiveCycle 08-12-2015
Hello,I'd like to have a multiple line message in the body of the email. I can get the text to be included, but all in one line. How do I get the lines to be separated into several separate lines? Everything except the formatting of the message works fine. Here is my script, that isn't working: app.mailMsg({ bUI: false, cTo: "", cCc: "includedaccounting@fheg.follett.com;", cSubject: "True up Complete" + " " + page1.storeInfo.arMajor.rawValue + " " + pages1_3.page1.storeInfo.storeNum.rawValue, cM...

Re: Trouble with a nested list of radio button options - Adobe LiveCycle 27-08-2015
To perhaps to help others needing a solution, I'm sharing my fix. I fixed this problem by changing from radio button lists to drop down lists. The second drop down list is populated by the first drop down list. Then for the third level, I kept the radio button lists. For some reason, using the switch/case scripting, I was able to allow the user to go back to the first drop down and change their selection and get all radio button lists to be hidden. Here is the script I used:Drop Down List 1switc...

Trouble with a nested list of radio button options - Adobe LiveCycle 17-08-2015
Hello,I'm having trouble with a nested list of radio button options on an order form where the customer picks a "narrowing" list of descriptive options. I'm thinking from research that this needs an array to solve the problem I'm having. However, I'm new to setting up and using an array, so could use some help. Here goes!List 1There is a four option radio button list1.When an option is chosen from List 1, another list is displayed--a different one for each option from List 1.So these are lists 2...

Re: Hide the drop down list arrow once the field is filled - Adobe LiveCycle 27-07-2015
Well, I'm making progress based on your last email. I moved the script to the change event and it works perfectly. Now, I'm not sure how to get the ability to reshow the drop down arrow if the user re-enters field.I kept the script in the enter event. The numbers are actually the displayed value, not the rawValue. so that's working ok.Thanks again for all your help.MDawn

Re: Hide the drop down list arrow once the field is filled - Adobe LiveCycle 27-07-2015
Here is the script I put on the Exit event of the drop down list. Nothing is happening. I don't get any error messages either. form1.#pageSet[0].Page1.deptList::exit - (JavaScript, client)if(xfa.event.newText == "3") {deptList.access="readOnly";}if(xfa.event.newText == "5") {deptList.access="readOnly";} if(xfa.event.newText == "7") {deptList.access="readOnly";} if(xfa.event.newText == "8") {deptList.access="readOnly";}The numbers are the values, not the rawValue.Thanks for your help.MDawn

Insert an Excel spreadsheet in a form - Adobe LiveCycle 24-07-2015
Is there a way to let users insert an Excel spreadsheet in a form and maintain the columns and rows? Would I use a text field or text box? They do not need to be able to edit once it's "pasted" into the form.Thanks,MDawn

Hide the drop down list arrow once the field is filled - Adobe LiveCycle 24-07-2015
I am creating a form that ultimately becomes a published page of directions. After the user selects an item in the drop down list, is there a way to make the arrow hidden. It would need to be redisplayed if the user click in the field again.Thanks,MDawn

Re: Exception error on Button2 click event - Adobe LiveCycle 08-07-2015
I could not get your answer to work. So, since I'm short on time, I changed the Value in the radio button list to the Place order and Quote values and used the rawValue expression and it works the way I need it to.Thanks for all your help. I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I did get it to work the way I need (which today is a success for me!)Thanks,MDawn

Re: Exception error on Button2 click event - Adobe LiveCycle 08-07-2015
In the Binding tab, I would like the "Item" value to display, rather than the "Value" value. I thought I remembered doing this before using formatted.Value but it's been awhile and I've forgotten, apparently!Thanks,MDawn
