Re: Dynamic Media - Original Image Dimension or aspect ratio Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
@srikanthp689160 If you use the parameter scl=1 in the URL then yes, you should be able to serve original dimensions.

Re: Dynamic Media - Original Image Dimension or aspect ratio Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
This setting gets applied to the complete account, so there won't be any problems with the delivery of existing assets. As mentioned earlier, dynamic Media servers currently don't serve up images that are larger than 25 million pixels(5000x5000). You can create an image preset[0] and adjust height and width as per requirement for large images and use that to deliver. Re: Dynamic Media - Original Image Dimension or aspect ratio Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi Srikanth,Each DM account has a configuration setting called "Reply Image Size Limit." It specifies the maximum reply image width and height that can be returned to the client. The server returns the "illegal image size" message if a request would cause a reply image whose width or height is larger than this setting. To adjust the MaxPix, log in to DM cloud(Scene7 Publishing System), and choose Setup > Application Setup > Publish Setup > Image Server > Reply Image Size Limit. Increase this sett...

Re: Incorrect scene7Filestatus post publishing the asset. Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
This could be a bug as pointed earlier and as suggested kindly update the instance to the latest service pack and check if it helps. If the issue persists even after the upgrade, I recommend opening. a support ticket with a complete set of error logs for further investigation.

Re: Incorrect scene7Filestatus post publishing the asset. Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
There were some issues related to bulk processing of assets, sometimes metadata from scene7 was not updated for the assets, etc. You can also check the Publish Asset settings selected in the dm cloud config, if its set to upon activation that means assets would be replicated to dm cloud but won't be activated until to manually publish them. Try changing the setting to Immediately to make them publish at the time of uploading.

Re: Brand Portal Configuration - Don’t appear button crea... Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi,Kindly confirm the exact AEM version you are working with, configuring AEM Assets with Brand Portal via Adobe I/O is supported on AEM 6.4.8.0 and above and AEM 6.5.4 and above. So, make sure you've got the latest service pack installed on the instance. Also, login as administrator on the instance to have sufficient rights for making the config. Regards,Vikas

Re: Incorrect scene7Filestatus post publishing the asset. Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi,There could be many reasons why an asset gets stuck in PublishIncomplete. I suggest opening a support ticket with us along with complete error logs and if possible adding debugger logs[0] capturing specific calls to the dm cloud for further investigation. Also, I would recommend upgrading the instance to the latest service pack as we've fixed quite a number of bugs/issues related to the processing of assets in SP4 and above.[0] • com.day.cq.dam.scene7 = communication between AEM and Scene7.• ...

Re: Dynamic Media cache flush in Hybrid mode Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
There are two ways you can get the cache cleared for the assets with AEM DM Hybrid setup: 1. In AEM you can change the Default Manifest setting for the image server. You can fine-tune quality (JPEG quality, resolution, resampling mode), caching (expiration), and prevent the rendering of images that are too large (defaultpix, defaultthumbpix, maxpix). More detailed information can be found here[0]2. Open a support ticket along with the list of asset URLs and will get that processed from the backe...

Re: I am trying to upload vedio for mixed media set but i... Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi, What is the run mode of your AEM instance? To use this functionality for creating mix media set, the runmode of your AEM instance needs to be dynamicmedia_scene7[0] and related settings under cloud-config should be in place as described in the below help article. Once the settings are present, the video/asset that you uploaded would be synched with DM cloud and that's what Mixed Media [1]set requires. Re: AEM Assets Video Smart Crop Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi Diksha, The smart crop for videos work differently than images. For videos it won't show the renditions for you to edit by clicking on Smart Crop, instead, you've to create a Viewer Preset with Rich Media Type as Smart Crop Video to use them. The URL which gets generated from the smart crop viewer would crop the video according to the screen size you are viewing based on the smart crop profile values. Thanks

Re: AEM assets Smart Crop usage Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
To use Smart Crop, you should be using dynamicmedia run mode(i.e. dynamicmedia or dynamicmedia_scene7) on your AEM with cloud-config updated with DM account setting. In case these conditions met and you still don't see Smart Crop renditions than kindly check the Image profile you've created. Does it have the Smart Crop selected? Here is an example which you can compare: Smart Crop Image Profile Example If for some reason it still doesn't show the option with the above settings in place, I recomm...

Re: AEM Assets Video Smart Crop Vikas_Bharti - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
Hi Diksha,As part of your profile, you need to enable the Smart Crop Ratio tool to select pre-defined aspect ratios. So, did you enable it and added the crop ratios? Try creating a new video profile, enable smart crop, and add some crop ratios. Apply this on a new folder and check the video, the option will show up. Here is the help article you can use: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/assets/dynamic/video-profiles.html#about-smart-crop-videoThanks
