hello @ishans52004352 We currently have only 3 rules fire, 1 sets the
page analytics, the other rule is a custom code rule which just gives a
naming convention to anchor tags and the third sends the beacon. will
reach out to client care perhaps about this. just strange how some pages
fire the page views and others don't. thank you for your reply. hoping
to figure out the solution to this. the rules meet the conditions where
the pages are not firing page view analytics and i've checked the markup...
We have global rules setting variables on the site, some pages are
displaying the page view analytics and others are not. When I check, the
rules are firing fine, launch is detected, I check the variables and it
is setting correctly but no page views. I'm really confused on this, any
ideas or help would be greatly appreciated as to what I should try next.
I've cleared variables and running Adobe Extension v. 1.8.3, as you
click through, events concatenate and they end up looking like event1,
event1, event1 event1 on the event Events variable. Clearing vars is
definitely happening but not sure why events keep repeating.
Hi all, so i'm experiencing something, I want to track click on my
anchor elements, however, we have a carousel and when a user clicks and
swipes/drags to the next carousel item, a click(s.tl) is fired. how can
i prevent it from firing when a user is dragging/sliding through the
images and only capture/fire the click(s.tl) when the user clicks it vs.
var dates = document.querySelector('#txDates').textContent.split(' — ');
trying to split the long dash that I have on my content page but
whenever i save the rule in DTM, it converts the long dash to short
dash. I can't use &eMdash; because it displays like the following:
Monday, Mar 16, 2020 — Wednesday, Mar 18, 2020
any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you! As an analyst, should I need to worry about the "unspecified"
occurrences? If so, is it possible to dig deeper to track that and/or
once it's unspecified, we really can't go any further? The documentation
provided is definitely the one I've been reading up on, just confused as
to why and wanted to know if it's possible to track the unspecified and
make sure the conversion variable isn't having any issues when being
So I have a custom eVar that is tied to an event. That event will only
fire when that eVar is set via clicked. When I am looking through
workspace, I see such a high number of occurrences that is unspecified.
I am just curious and wanted to know, what is the cause of this? Should
I be worried? How can we fix this? or any other helpful tips/ideas that
any of you who experienced this can recommend to me. I would greatly
appreciate it very much. Hopefully someone from Adobe can provide more
I set up some Launch Rules and have a send beacon order at 12 and a s.tl
rule order at 9. My issue is, the s.tl rule fires right after the send
beacon which gives me an incorrect value in analytics. I tried moving
order of s.tl rule to order 8 but still the same result. Anyone ever
encounter something like? If so, how were you able to come up with a
solution/fix for it?
Thanks, i tried and it didn't give me any data in return, I did get this
banner error message on top:ERRORAn unknown error occurred in retrieving
some or all of your data from RealTime.OverviewReport. This endpoint
returned with a status code of -1. Please submit this error to Adobe
Client Care for further diagnosisThe caret symbol that begins with works
fine, but when I added the - to it, that's when I got the error message.
I am running Real-Time Traffic Reports for the current website traffic
but I want to exclude specific pages when viewing real-time report. I
can use the caret which allows me to select pages that begin with,
however, i want everything except one type of page. So I am looking to
see if there was a way to exclude something/name or excluding something
that begins with while showing everything else? This is in regards to
page search field, I am able to use ^ to determine that I want to show
