I feel your pain! I thought this was a bug for the longest time, and just kept waiting for the fix to go live, but customer care said it's intended behavoir. Very strange. It would be like removing a segment when you do a breakdown.

Hey Ben,  The primary use case would be to catch a broken metric that makes it to prod as quickly as possible, so that it can be fixed right away. In an ideal world, this would never happen, but in reality, I would bet that every analyst has experienced it at least once. This would be the saftey net...

I think that will show you single page visit rate.  I want a bounce rate that means the user came and took off without  interaction with any page element we trackreading an entire articlegoing to a second page. The above will only give you the third.  Katy

Or the ability to edit dashboards jointly. It's annoying to log into others' accounts to edit dashboards I've set up for them.

Add a ? by calculated metrics when they appear on reports. When a user clicks, provide a 1 line descript of calc metrics and provide the forumla. It's often confusing for other users who didn't make the Global Metric, what exactly is going into it.

They need to give you the option to choose a SUM or AVERAGE for the TOTAL row when creating calculated metrics. Otherwise conversion rates are summed, which is rediculous.

I was really annoyed when I realized my calculated metrics were not available! No brainer!
