I have a similar problem in that when I introduce a jpg logo into my livecycle form as a standalone page and move it above page 1 it creates a blank page above it that I can't delete. Any ideas anyone?Much appreciated in advance!

Hi all, I am a regular designer of dynamic forms in LCD but have just come upon a problem. Switching from design mode to view my form in preview is locking up LCD and forcing me to exit LCD. Any ideas would be appreciated from you clever bods. I'm working with v11.0.06. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, is it possible to configure a dynamic (livecycle ES3) form to allow the user to input both normal (default) AND bold font into a text field? Also, if different a colour font was required to highlight a point - is this possible? Appreciate cany help in this matter. Thanks

Hi all, I have a relatively easy scripting problem that I can't overcome! Once a date is added to a dynamic date field by the initial user, is it then possible to lock the field so as the date cannot be changed?I am using LiveCycle Designer to create the form.Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi all, thank you for your help in advance! I am creating a form in LC Designer which holds several tables within which are textfields. Is there any way to get a row content to overflow to the next page if the row straddles more than one page, possibly even two or more?Regards

Hi all, is it possible to add a row in the middle of a dynamic table?I've created several forms and am able to add additional rows at the bottom of a table using the 'button' object + javascript but am now working on a table requiring chronological events. If an event is missed out by the client I would like to a facility to allow them to add it in the appropriate place in the table.Appreciate any help out there. RegardsBarum55

Hi again cherstein. The problem with the rectangles is that they won't 'grow' with your expanding boxes hence it would be better to delete them and incorporate borders with the relevant text boxes.Good luck

Hi again Cherstein. I've attached an edited version of your form. Several points:- Put your footer on the master page - very important. If your form is going to be interactive with expanding boxes etc, save your form as dynamic and also check your form properties in the toolbar - it needs to be dynamic and interactive. Name your subforms as you go along. It's preferable to name all your objects - a pain but!!Also I noticed you've added rectangles around your text boxes - just use the 'border' pal...

Cherstein, it's probably this -You need to select your relevant page subform, have it flowed and in the pagination pallette alter to 'follow previous'. I'm guessing it is still 'Top of Next Page' - that's the default.Hopefully this will be of some help.Barum

Hi all,I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me re. hyperlinks on LC v8.2. It appears so straight forward with the'help assistant' - click on text box/static text field and right click but I'm getting no joy. My forms are dynamic and I'm not looking to create http buttons which I've done previously. The link appears to be there on the design view but once I go to 'preview' the link disappears! Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi fellow users, can anyone help with the most basic question - how do I get my text field to expand to allow large amounts of text? My form is 'dynamic XML form' enabled, the text field subform is 'flowed, the page subform is 'positioned', I have 'multiple pages' ticked and also 'expand to fit' ticked. I'm using LC v8.2. Appreciate any help. I have included my form - the most basic of forms ever!RegardsBarum55

Hi Paul, you're my last hope! I cannot get my text boxes to increase in depth as I enter data - I just get the scroll bar coming into play. Fine if it is purely an electronic form but obviously no good if a printed copy is required. Under Form Properties I've entered 'Interactive Form' and Acrobat 8 (Dynamic) XML form. I've ticked 'Allow multiple lines' in the object pallette, ticked 'expand to fit' in the height (y) layout pallette and have my subform as flowed. This is my last throw of the dic...

Hi Paul, I'm hoping you can help me. You seem to know what you are talking about re. LiveCycle Designer 8.0. I produce a lot of forms but I cannot get my text fields ('Comments' on sampleto expand and/or continue over to the next page depending on the amount of text I put in. I just get the scroll bar. I've ticked the 'expand' box in the Layout pallette, ticked the 'allow multiple lines' in the Object pallette. My forms are 'interactive' and 'dynamic' in the form properties box. Hi, I am currently using LiveCycle Designer 8.0. I am having major problems getting my text field boxes to expand dynamically on the page and over to the next page to accommodate large amounts of text. I have employed the 'allow multiple lines' and 'expand box' but to no avail. I think it is a 'subform' related problem. Appreciate any help out there.RegardsBarum55
