Expandable text fields

Hi fellow users, can anyone help with the most basic question - how do I get my text field to expand to allow large amounts of text? My form is 'dynamic XML form' enabled, the text field subform is 'flowed, the page subform is 'positioned', I have 'multiple pages' ticked and also 'expand to fit' ticked. I'm using LC v8.2. Appreciate any help. I have included my form - the most basic of forms ever!

Regards

The problem is that the form was saved as a static PDF. If you save it as a dynamic PDF and enter a lot text into the field you get the scrollbar appearing on the right, but it expands as soon as you exit the field. I suspect you set it to a Dynamic XML form in the form properties preview menu, which only works for previewing the PDF inside designer. You will still have to save it as a dynamic PDF when the form is ready. Attached is your form which was saved as a dynamic PDF. (You nearly had it )

Hi,

Your form was saved as a static PDF even though the "preview form as" was dynamic it must take the saved as state.  Anyway all I did was open the form and save it as a dynamic and the text field expands.

BR001, Dallas, thanks for your help - problem solved, much appreciated. My form was defaulting to static when I saved it.
