Re: Password protect form structure - Adobe LiveCycle 12-04-2013
Yes. Then you have to do the same as the screenshot shows above. Then can't nobody open your form in the LiveCycleDesigner ad see your script.Nobody needs the password for open the form for filling in the Adobe Reader. You have to deactivate the "Require a password to open...". If this checkd then every time you need the password if you open the form with the Adobe Reader.Kind regards Mandy

Hi,this is not so difficult. You have to use the script editor (about windows)Then you have to mark your numeric field. Then you have to select "EXIT" and "JAVASCRIPT".Then you have to copy the following script:(I come from germany and I don't know which amount you mean because in german is this switched 1,000.00 $ is in german 1.000,00 $) This is the only thing which you adapt maybe.if(this.rawValue <250){ TextField1.rawValue = null;}else{ TextField1.rawValue = "Manager";}Hope it will helps,Mandy

Hi Justin, the only thing which you can do is to secure the form for the development modus.Means Adobe Reader user could use the form normaly. If anybody want open the form in the LiveCycle Designer he can't open the form without the password. If you need this do the following:File | Form Properties | PDF-Security | activate "Permissions..."Hope it will helps,Mandy

Re: PDF Viewer Compatibility - Adobe LiveCycle 05-04-2013
In my humble opinion you can only change the default settings. You have to set the Adoeb Reader as default viewer. Other forms don't supported XFA-forms.If not you can't sure that your forms works correct. Kind regards Mandy

I'm not sure if I understand you right. Here is a script that check if you leave the field which entry the user makes. If the entry is a "G" the field will be filled with color. You have to use this script in the change-event of the script editor. This allows to entry only G or R or Y or 0.if(xfa.event.newText.match(/[^GRY0]/)){ xfa.event.change = "";}And this script you have to use in the exit-event of the script editor. This checks if your entry is a "G".if(this.rawValue == "G"){ Textfeld1.fillCo...

Why you use the action builder? What would you like to create? You cold use the following - the subform is visible if the textfield is empty - not empty the subform is hidden:if(PathToTextfield.NameTextobject.rawValue == null){ PathToSubform.NameSubform.presence = "visible";}else{PathToSubform.NameSubform.presence = "hidden";}You could copy this script in the EXIT-event of your textfield. You will find the scripteditor about "windows" | "scripteditor"Then you select the event (Anzeigen = event (thi...
