Afterwards I always activate the extended rights and it works fine!! Everytime! Maybe it's a problem of your version? I need for this steps the LCD ES (8) and ES (9) 2.No idea what you are doing or what's the problem in your case. I'm only trying to help you.Kind regard...

Hi,1) You can do this with a script. But this script works only with the Acrobat Pro not with the Adobe Reader!!2) Sure. You open your form.Go to File | Form Properties | Preview | then choose your xml-fileThen you have to got to the textobject | mark this | go to "Object" | "Binding"Here you can bind the field: $record.PRINTJOB.PMSDATA.ObjectNameXML (You have to adapt this in the path in your XML to the field in the XML)If you make a preview you will see the value of the XML in your textfield.Y...

Yes of course.You create your table.In the dynamic rows the textobjects get two properties expand to fit (layout | height)allow multiple lines (object | field) The static textobjects needs only "limit lengths to visible area".Then you wrap the table into a subform. This subform needs "content" "flowed". (object | subform)Then the subform of the page needs the same settings. ("content" "flowed". (object | subform))Then save the form as dynamic.In the example I make the Row 1 and 4 dynamic.https:/...

Then you have to do the same as the screenshot shows above.Then can't nobody open your form in the LiveCycleDesigner ad see your script.Nobody needs the password for open the form for filling in the Adobe Reader.You have to deactivate the "Require a password to open...". If this checkd then every time you need the password if you open the form with the Adobe Reader.Kind regards Mandy

Hi,this is not so difficult.You have to use the script editor (about windows)Then you have to mark your numeric field.Then you have to select "EXIT" and "JAVASCRIPT".Then you have to copy the following script:(I come from germany and I don't know which amount you mean because in german is this switched 1,000.00 $ is in german 1.000,00 $) This is the only thing which you adapt maybe.if(this.rawValue <250){ TextField1.rawValue = null;}else{ TextField1.rawValue = "Manager";}Hope it will helps,Mandy

In my humble opinion you can only change the default settings.You have to set the Adoeb Reader as default viewer. Other forms don't supported XFA-forms.If not you can't sure that your forms works correct. Kind regards Mandy

Hi,for the correct textflow you have to do the following.Start with the smallest item - your dynamic textfield. This needs:allow multiple lines (object - field)expand to fit (layout - height)Then you go to the next one which contains this textfield. all this subforms needs to be flowed.Take a look o the hierarchie.Your textfield (in my example) is contained by the subform (dynSubform)and from the sibform (untitled Subform..)All these subforms needs the setting "Content Flowed"And then you have t...

I'm not sure if I understand you right.Here is a script that check if you leave the field which entry the user makes.If the entry is a "G" the field will be filled with color.You have to use this script in the change-event of the script editor. This allows to entry only G or R or Y or 0.if(xfa.event.newText.match(/[^GRY0]/)){ xfa.event.change = "";}And this script you have to use in the exit-event of the script editor. This checks if your entry is a "G".if(this.rawValue == "G"){ Textfeld1.fillCo...

Why you use the action builder?What would you like to create?You cold use the following - the subform is visible if the textfield is empty - not empty the subform is hidden:if(PathToTextfield.NameTextobject.rawValue == null){ PathToSubform.NameSubform.presence = "visible";}else{PathToSubform.NameSubform.presence = "hidden";}You could copy this script in the EXIT-event of your textfield.You will find the scripteditor about "windows" | "scripteditor"Then you select the event (Anzeigen = event (thi...

This works fine:if (this.rawValue < 4.5 || this.rawValue > 7 ){ if (this.rawValue != null){ app.alert("Values is outside the allowable range"); this.rawValue = null; xfa.host.setFocus("this"); }}Or with the syntax of Kyle:if (this.rawValue < 4.5 || this.rawValue > 7 ){ if (!this.isNull){ app.alert("Values is outside the allowable range"); this.rawValue = null; xfa.host.setFocus("this"); }}Kind regards Mandy

I use always:var FilePath = event.target.path;this.rawValue = FilePath;Important:If you use this in the preview of the LCD you get your result.The right result (the path) you get if you use this with the Adobe Reader.This is the same with this script then with the LCD preview you got the temp file name:this.rawValue = event.target.documentFileName;Hope it will helps you,Mandy
