Hi Nith, Thanks for your reply.I am having a problem in applying your approach. I havn't use AWS_ACTION till now. So don't know how to use it.I created a new form (xdp), Workspace enabled, put a submit button (named it 'AWS_ACTION'). On Button's preSubmit event I try to check the AWS_ACTION value.app.alert("AWS Value: " + AWS_ACTION.rawValue );xfa.event.cancelAction = true;In workspace, I have 2 routes. I am getting the null value when selecting anyone of the route. I have tried it on form's pre...

The DDX reference guide notes that the Assembler service can not help you create Navigation Welcomepages or Navigation Headers. It suggests you create these using Acrobat and then reference them in your DDX. It also states that the source of either of these can be a PDF or XML file. The example below is taken directly from the DDX reference. I have a process that builds DDX dynamically at runtime. If I can do the same for the XML (myXMLWelcomePage or myXMLHeader), I'll have the ability to create...

Hi Hodmi,Can you help me on this !!I was looking DDX Reference, There I found: (Page 51)Note: The Assembler service cannot help you create the navigation header (not to be confused with a page header). Nor can the service help you create a navigation welcome page. The best tool for creating navigation headers and navigation welcome pages is Acrobat Pro Extended 9.I also tried the below, but it too not worked. How to use the above method ?? Where I have to store myImage.png ? Currently I am a...

Hi Bruce,In my process Image Path (& other data) will be coming from database. This will then be inserted in form's XML Data. As you tell, we can't give the image path directly, we have to encode image in base64 value on the fly. I don't want to use any webservice or remote site to do this work. I want to do this inside the LC Server itself. To encode image in base64 value I have done the following steps (inside process):Read JPG image in document variable;Convert this document to base64 using ge...

Hi Bibhu, Thanks for your reply.Actually in future I have to deploy this form on LiveCycle ES2 server. I will be having the list of names/images pairs and I will use this form as a template. For each item in the list I will be creating a form having that name & image. It will be later saved on disk. So some process will be dynamically providing the names, image_paths (may from database). I hope you understand the problem. If any other way is there to do this functionality?Thanks.-Abhinav

I need to attach documents in my pdf form using acrobat attachment functionality (not the workspace atachments). It works fine when submit form as PDF but fails when submit form as XDP. I need to add some data to form data(process ID using SetValue) before assigning to 2nd user. For this, I think, XDP submission is best. But Using PDF submission I am not able to modify the data in between the process using SetValue. Is it possible to send attachments while submitting form as XDP ?? OR how else I ...

I think there is no such Radio Button list kinda option inside the designer. You would have to put a separate Text for caption against each radio button group.Ex: Caption Text: o RB1 o RB2 o RB3 thanks.-Abhinav

Hi,Use flow layout in order to avoid overlapping of table on other objects. This flow layout is to be set on the parent container (form/subform) of the table. Put the other objects too into the same container. It will cause the dynamic resizing of the container each time the new row is added.Thanks.-Abhinav
