Hi,I need to invoke my process every hour keeping it short lived. Because I have only license for Livecycle Forms ES2 Module, so I cant use wait point. So please tell me any way so that I can invoke my process from outside, periodically. I heard about cron job for doing this task. But I didnt found any help/example on how to use it with live cycle process. Thanks in advance.-abhinav

In main process you would have todrag a abstract activity (process design mode in workbench). Define that abstract activity.Search for your 2nd process and select it. Your 2nd Process is ready to be used in Main process. You can make input/output variables for 2nd process so that you can pass/retrieve values from it in the 1st Main process.Note: Make sure that application, to which the 2nd process belongs, should be deployed.Hope it helps. Thanks,Abhinav

Lists are 1 index based i.e. First item would be added at index 1 of the list, not from 0.So pls check if your counter variable is starting from value 1. Rest of the thing seems to be fine. Thanks,Abhinav

If you refer participants as the user of workbench which are part of a particular process you can surely do it. Make a List variable in the process which will store emails. Now append all participant's mail addresses to this variable for each user. Now when the process reaches the last step (just before completion), loop through the list and send a notification mail to all participants.Another way is to create a group which has all the participants of a particular process. When process reaches t...

Hi, I went through the Service Management control in admin panel. There is a configurable pooling section that has three options in Request Processing Strategy:Single Instance for All requests: As it states it should have worked, but it didn't. Each time I was invoking process a new instance was being created. Need more help on it.New Instance for each request : Default option. Will create new instance for each request, as stated.Pooled Instances for all the requests: Configuring it makes my pro...

Right this is the nice way to implement this. But I have to delete that record, no flag is bieng maintained as of now & its a wierd requirement of my client. So I was going thru that way aka Singleton Process. But I think if this is the case then I have to convince my client for flag option. Thanks Chalukya.Currently I was looking at http://localhost:8080/soap/services/TaskManagerQueryService?wsdl service. I think it could help me in getting a solution for it.-Abhinav

Thanks Chalukya !!I have a process P1. It is monitoring a table in the database at regular fixed (5 mins) intervals, looped using wait point. Whenever a record is pushed in that table, P1 sends an email to admin, delete that record from the table. Now if TWO(2) instances are running of same process P1 then it may be the possibility that both instances checks table at same time and TWO(2) similar mails are sent. Situation would be more worse it more instances are running (multiple times invoked)....

Hi,Add an email start point in the process. It will automatically download the attachment(xml/pdf) and make it available to the process. In next step you can pass this attachment to the java service. You may have to make a custom java component for passing it to servelet. Hope it helps.Thanks.-abhinav

Pls help me on it.I have installed Livecycle server ES2 on my server machine. Its configurations are:OS - Windows...

Hi, Sure you can get the image from this Base64 code.If you are using Livecycle Server ES2 then it would be quite easy. If you are familiar with SET VALUE operation in process, then there is a function getDocFromBase64(/process_data/@strBase64Data) which returns a document of input Base64 string. Note: @strBase64Data is the process variable which holds the Base64 string coming from the PDF form. You can save this document as image file on your disk.Hope it helps.Thanks.-Abhinav

Thanks Niall.I don't want to open image in new window. I think the same as you, to make a separate Web Service in b/w PDF & Google Maps for getting image data & Base64 conversion. I have explained my problem on http://forums.adobe.com/message/3460808#3460808I hope you would got the Idea of my problem. Good Luck to me to get this job done. -Abhinav

Thanks for reply Paul.Actually I need to render a Google Map (Static JPG Image) in ImageField dyanamically. Pls have a look on snap below -But ImageField accepts only Base64 encoded value, so I can't use the URI of static image. Also I can't load it in temp memory inside PDF (Using HTTP Request) & then convert it into Base64 value. So I thought of putting HTML frame inside PDF.Now I am thinking that the only way left is to make a WebService in b/w GoogleMap and PDF which will accept the location...

I was checking the issue. I found that there are 3 Buttons in process fields:AWS_SUBMIT : Control Type - Regular, VisibleFSSUBMIT_ : Control Type - Submit, HiddenPDF_SUBMIT : Control Type - Submit, HiddenSo I think the problem is due to later two buttons (FSSUBMIT_ & PDF_SUBMIT). Both are of Submit type. So workspace not able to recognize which one to use to submit.I changed the above to: (not using my submit button)AWS_SUBMIT : Control Type - Submit, VisibleFSSUBMIT_ : Control Type - Regular, H...
