password does not work - Adobe LiveCycle 28-06-2020
Hello,In my form, I have buttons which only I can operate by entering a password. The problem is that even though I have the password in the script, you can enter any word or letter or number into the password block and the button still operates. I think it's because I'm using JavaScript and Formcalc on the buttons, but not sure. Can you help? Below are the scripts of three buttons. The first two are the ones that do not work the way I want them to. The third one works fine. The "lock fields but...

Re: Hidden fields in drop down list - Adobe LiveCycle 18-08-2019
I uploaded the form with the script for you to see what I'm hoping to accomplish if that would help. Please choose accessories from the 'type" block. You will see the table expand to include an "accessory type" block. Notice that the serial number block is still present. Now choose "Back packs" and you will see that the "serial number" block is hidden. Now if you choose another category from the accessory type block, the "serial number" block reappears. I need for this to happen for the other ca...

Hidden fields in drop down list - Adobe LiveCycle 17-08-2019
This is a followup question to my earlier post that was answered. I wasn't sure if I could add to it, so I created another post. Within my table, I have a couple of drop down names which DOES NOT require a serial number entry. So, I want the serial number block to be hidden if I chose those entries but be visible when I chose a category that requires a serial number. The top java script below works for one selection, so I entered that java script for each category separately thinking it would wo...

Re: need help with a message box - Adobe LiveCycle 09-08-2019
It's meant to clear all the values if I choose yes and not clear the values if I choose no. The red reset button in the top right corner works as it should. It's the button labeled "remove all entries from this specific record" that is not working right. When I click and answer no, it still removes the entries. Please choose Accessories and then a Accessory type and continue to fill in the form. Click the remove entries button. You will see that the"Type" and "Accessory Type" blocks erases when ...

need help with a message box - Adobe LiveCycle 04-08-2019
Hello,I need a Warning message box to pop up when I click a button that will remove the entries from a table but instead of removing the entries after I click yes or no, it removes the whole table. I think it has something to do with the third entry, but I'm not sure. I can't figure it out. This is what I have in the click event:if(xfa.host.messageBox("Are you sure you want to erase all entries?", "Reset the form", 2,2) == 4){ xfa.host.messageBox("All entries have been removed"); xfa.resolveNode...
