Re: Adobe Analytics API 2.0 or 1.4 - Get List of active u... - Adobe Analytics 14-07-2020
Hi, You can refer to the Analytics logs as follows to identify the webservices requests:Analytics > Admin > Logs > Usage & Access Logs Document Reference: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/admin/admin-tools/logs.html Filter these with keywords such as 'API operation' or 'WebServices' under Event field. Under Login header you will find the username running the requests. Hope this helps! Thanks,Saumya

Re: Unspecified value for evar - Adobe Analytics 07-07-2020
Hi, As per the design of conversion variable (evar) report there can be 2 cases when Unspecified appears:A conversion event fires without a conversion variableHits where conversion variable was not presentI am assuming you are using out-of-the-box dimension 'Page' for pages report. If you apply 'eVar Instances' metric to your report, you will not get 'Unspecified' in the breakdown report. Instances metric is useful when you want to see the number of times a dimension value was set without the hi...

Re: First time visits in Report Builder - Adobe Analytics 07-07-2020
Hi, You can check 'Product Compatibility' of the calculated metric in the metric definition itself. See #11 in screenshot below: Document Reference: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/components/calculated-metrics/calcmetrics-reference/cm-compatibility.html If the metric is compatible, you can access the Calculated Metrics created under specific report suite, in Report Builder click on the filter icon for Metrics and then select the Report Suite under which it is created. This will...

Re: Summary Number decimal places - Adobe Analytics 07-07-2020
Hi, The latest Summary Number visualization in Workspace shows the data upto 2 decimal places by default. With Summary Number Options: Abbreviate Value you can choose from 0 to 3 decimal places for abbreviated values. Document Reference: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/analyze/analysis-workspace/visualizations/summary-number-change.html The problem you were facing has been taken care of now! I understand the delayed response here, but still worth replying to. Hope this helps! Th...

Re: exit links - Adobe Analytics 07-07-2020
If you look at the Analytics server call (filter calls by b/ss) in the debugger, you will notice query parameters like 'pe' and 'pev2'.pe determines the type of link. For custom link it is 'o', for exit link it is 'e' and for download link it is 'd'.pev2 determines the type of link name. So in case of Exit link call, if you see pe: lnk_e and pev2: some name, then the exit link call is firing on the page. Re: Missing Analytics v2.0 API - Adobe Analytics 16-06-2020
I agree your question is about API v2.0 however, the problem description is not entirely correct. API v1.4 is not deprecated, rather 1.4 SOAP Analytics APIs have reached end of life. See Release Notes: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/release-notes/experience-cloud/current.html hence you can still leverage API v1.4 for the above mentioned methods.Additionally, WSSE authentication has been deprecated, see document: https://github.com/AdobeDocs/analytics-1.4-apis. This means it may or may no...

Re: Missing Analytics v2.0 API - Adobe Analytics 16-06-2020
The 1.4 APIs support JWT and OAuth authentication. WSSE Authentication has been deprecated. With API 1.4 you can use following methods to get the desired data:1. Getting processing rules There is a function called "ReportSuite.viewProcessingRules". 2. Getting usage logsYou can use the desired methods in Admin API 1.4.Document Reference: https://github.com/AdobeDocs/analytics-1.4-apis/blob/master/docs/admin-api/index.md3. Getting data feedsThe data feeds API lets you retrieve the status of data fe...

Re: Error numbers in metrics (Time spent per visitor & Ti... - Adobe Analytics 16-06-2020
Q1. Is this an error? if so, how we could fix it?Ans: Time spent per visitor (Seconds) is Total seconds spent / unique visitor and Time spent per visit (Seconds) is Total seconds spent / (visit-bounces).You can apply metrics 'Total seconds spent', 'Unique visitor', 'Visit' and 'Bounces' to the report and calculate the numbers as per the definitions above. If the calculation does not appear to be correct, you can always submit a ticket with Analytics clientcare team by sending an email to Custome...
