Hi @evolytics_brian, you are exactly answered my questions. Appreciate that. However, do you mind let me know where I can find the steps to do option 2?Sorry I have little idea about how to setup classification report. What I am looking for is, to change the value collected in eVar7 and make it can be freely breakdown in any of workspace project.e.g. the server call is still firing laptop002001-dell-xps-13, but where I can find the step/user guide to guide me setting something then evar7 will onl...

@CurtisYoung1987, If it can only be resolved in implementation stage, we have to contact IT again for litter longer processing time, and historical data will not be recovered. On the other hand, more importantly, the purpose is to evaluate the distinct product ID and rest of metrics/analysis for SEO. As a result, the recommended way - creating segment, would not applicable for batch process for over 10K product ID (adding duplicate will be over 20K).thanks for your reply, if there is any other re...

we've set "Product ID" as evar7 to capture the product info. The product id looks like: LAPTOP002001, PC200345, the URL looks like: https://example.com/product/laptop002001 Recently, an tech implementation made the URL structure changes: https://example.com/product/laptop002001-dell-xps-13as a result, server call fires: LAPTOP002001-DELL-XPS-13 to evar7.Then, in Adobe, we will see 2 values, they are actually same page, same productevar 7product viewsLAPTOP0020031800LAPTOP002003-DELL-XPS-13150 Is ...

Visit landing on sub-domain 1: https://1.domain.com, then either click a link or type-in URL goes to sub-domain 2 https://2.domain.com, then left. The questions are:will sub-domain 2 get a bounce?is it reasonable to calculate bounce% in domain 2 as formula: bounce/visits*100%? My understanding is the bounce shall be aligned with entries. As a result, even break down by "server", the above example is not a bounce to domain 1, not a bounce to domain 2 as well. But since it is a visit to domain 2, as...

along with original post, I also have anothe questions. So far, seems only Admin can change the start-end day globally. Hopefully there will be a way define the start-end day of week by each user, or by project/workspace.

Is it possible to assign different value to same eVar upon different user behavior?e.g., a page can be accessed either by click a tab or directly copy/paste URLif the page is accessed by clicking a link/tab on previous page (in same domain), assign value to : "PageName A Link"if it is accessed by copy/paste, assign value to: "PageName A"Plus,is it possible to assign to "PageName A SE" if it is landing from external search engine? Thanks in advance.H

Hi everyone, Besides the adobe defualt "referrer", we've set up an dimension to record any page refer to the landing page at hit level, internal domain is also included. Try to help us to see any "previous page" before the current one. But, recently we noticed that on this Referrer URL (prop33), some comes from www.youtube.com , some from exact video, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-HzF8DC2Mc (fake URL just for sample). But in fact, it's nealy impossible the traffic from www.youtube.com di...

When you mentioned the "click" number is bigger than email click numbers, according to my exp. there are 2 possibilities:1. Is the "page view" in Adobe is included on Visit level? Which means, any landing visit from email campaign and all the sequential clicks. If yes, that's reasonable since all the clicks happened in the visit lead by one email campain will be included. 2. Campaign email was forwarded by recipients to someone else, or artifical traffic (bot traffice)2.1 check with your email v...

There are several ways, upon the type of ID.If they have same prefix, suffix, create a segment, start with, end withOr, search from Dimension, select all of the 40 IDs, drag & drop into "segment" interfaceIf there are even more, e.g. hundreds of IDs, you may need to download all the values and filter, then upload back to Adobe Analytics to re-classify them as an individual dimension.

In Adhoc, it's easy to export multi layer breakdown data up-to 50K row for each dimension.I see in AA-Workspace, it does allow "download as csv" for single dimension, but not including each of the breakdowns. As following real example, there are 2 segmented rows, each has it's own breakdown, each breakdown exceed 500 rows.Could you help to advise: How to export this table as a whole including all raw data?(In Adhoc, just expand all segment and dimension row to 50,000 then click "export" from righ...

Recently, we noticed the Bounce% increased a lot, while investigating, after we opening up the "Entry Page", most of the increasing bounce is in (Low Traffic). However, there is no way in Data Warehouse add "Bounce, Entries". Experts, do you have better idea to open the detail of the (Low Traffic) for above scenario? Thanks in advance!

use sequential segment you will get the page name and visit/UV before/after a page, or set a prop record a page as referrer to the next page and check the visit, UV. -with this way, you will be able to get the page list, but does not mean how many times are page B before page A as it counts into "Visit Level". The best way is to use site analysis in Adhoc. It will give you the path view (from-to) and your customizable metrics. Unfortunately, it will be sunset next March On the other hand, "Flow ...

Ya, but the current biggest challenge is there will be no "Site Analysis" anymore.Omniture, won from a website analysis tool, but now, it's more moving to a digital marketing data reporting tool. - I don't doubt it, but the website analysis is a vital reason we use it, it has been providing very helpful resources for Website redesign. Site Analysis, can show the "from-to" among touchpoints clearly, with customizable dimensions and metrics in a 3D view way, this is very helpful we over-view a cus...

The date duration is set to "This Quarter", dimension by "Week".But the data will be refreshed once the new week reaches. Is there a way to get new week data only when the full week completes? Asking this is because the dashboard is scheduled a weekly delivery, according to current situation, we either will not get the full data if the schedule is earlier (last full week not completes), or will not get the full data for the current new week on the "number" area. Try to create 2 segments at [Visit] Level.1. Initiate CO from Homepage, then Exclude visited/initiated from Pricing Page, then reached the CO page2. Initiate CO from Pricing Page, then reached the CO page about how you define "initiate" CO, may by activity map? or just visited the page, you may provide more information.

@aaronj39712229, sorry I can only reply you by this "answer" since the design of new layout of this community, "comments" will not allow a paste of image. I tried to Exclude "Entry Page" (not entry page type) for all FAQ pages, then breakdown by Page Name, I can still see "FAQ" pages listed with Entries. For example, if I see Page Name contains FAQ listed and without Entries will be reasonable, but the result is we see "entries" for that page as well.More weird, when I breakdown the Page Name by ...

Thanks for your reply, but if the 2nd page view is referred from 3rd party website, or Bing.com, it will not be considered from Referrer Google, but referrer is Bing.com, is it?Does it mean it will only count the "entry referrer"?

@aaronj39712229, I just tried to drill down the segment in method 2, I use a reverse way to validate: create segment "entry page type = FAQ", but I still can see other page types get "entries". So i think "Exclude Entry Page Type is FAQ" is not accurate as well.

I just think the method 1 is not accurate, coz if I set [page type = FAQ], in the segment, will also include other pages entered and then visited "FAQ" pages in the visiting journey... as a result, the "Entries" in the segment is more than actual

Dear Experts, Could you please share your idea about titled question? The purpose is to evaluate Search landing experience. For example, there are following page types:Home page, FAQ, Product, Checkout, Video if we want to get bounce rate for all other page types but not "FAQ", how to create the segment?(coz we consider FAQ is self-sufficient content page, user may read and left, so we want to exclude all FAQ pages from Bounce%)Here are 2 ideas come up to my mind:1.
