Retrieving and Storing Node Details in AJO Journey Without API Call

Avatar

Level 1

Hi Team,

We have a use case where we need to retrieve and store the node ID and name of a specific activity within an AJO journey in a variable. While we understand that journey properties allow access to these details for the current and previous activities, our requirement is for a different node that is neither the current nor the previous one.

Later, we intend to use this variable as a request parameter within a custom action. However, we want to achieve this without making an API call to store the node details in the variable.

Additionally, could you please confirm if there is a way to directly retrieve the node details within the custom action without using variables?

Best regards,
Richa Chaubey

Hi @RichaCh,

Since there hasn’t been any recent activity on this thread and as suggested by @Mohan_Dugganab, this use case does not appear to be feasible within the current capabilities of AJO. So, we’ll be closing this question for now.

If you have any related questions or updates to share, please don’t hesitate to start a new thread or request to reopen this one. We’d be happy to take another look.

Thanks!

I don't think it is feasible - can you share more details on your use case ?
