Prioritization in the audience definition when combined different audience into one large audience in AJO

Hi Team,

question that I create a large audience by concatenating several individual audiences. I have a few profiles overlapping to the multiple audiences. my question is does it happen on the Prioritization in the audience definition if I selected one audience above another. let's say there are A and B audiences, I selected A first above B and if one profile resides in both audiences. is the profile coming out only from A or both or B.  this is crucial concept for us to compose the audience and journey. please let me know

There is no duplication happening on the profiles in this case. It's all about audience membership of the same profile.

Usually, profiles are treated as unique and unified entities. If a profile qualifies for both Audience A and B, and you use these as inputs for Audience C, the platform doesn't "choose" between the versions from A or B.

Instead:

  • The profile is evaluated based on its current unified state, not based on which audience it came from.

  • If Audience C is defined as "A OR B," the profile will be included if it meets either condition—without duplication.

Thank you! but if profile resides in A and B which profile will come through. A or B as we use A or B naming to the custom action with different touchpoint. it must have the rule in audience definition or system randomly select one.

Ideally, it's the same profile entity that's part of both audiences A & B.

Ok, is there a way to turn off the deduplication as I would keep all overlapping profiles between the audiences within merged large audiences
